Yeah well it doesnt refer to political leanings but to biblical correctness. it also says to turn not to tje left nor to the right. Only straight at God on Gods Word. Tje politucal left and right are two branches of the same dead tree.
The appellation "Wing" came from the French revolution where the left wing of the post revolutionary government building was used by the advocates of a individualistic, property-owning, market economy and the right wing was used by the defenders of religion and aristocracy as the sources of authority.
I was watching a clip on PragerU about communism vs us. Communism sounds very good but they have very bad track record.
It's like saying just because the concept of the "Left or Right" sounds wonderful, you have to look at the history instead of blindly following the concept.
Whonalso by the end of his life did not follow it. He got israel split up because he actually sacrificed to his ammonite and edomite wives false gods. Wives God told him not to take. You can read about it in 1kings.
Two were crucified with Christ. One on the left, one on the right, CHRIST in the middle. One rejected Christ, the other did not. CHRIST remains in the middle, waiting our decision.
I suppose it’s worth pointing out that up until the early 1900s. Some ideas currently held as sacrosanct by the Right were left wing ideas. And even then we’ve seen some political ideological switches happen within collective living memory. Such as the Democrats and broader left becoming the party of moral busybodies wanting to slap restrictions on speech. While the Right took on the mantle of free speech crusaders.
So trying to apply today’s political philosophy and political divides. Especially given the variable history. Doesn’t really make this analogy fit. Though I get the sentiment you were going for.
Lenin divided socialists into 2 groups. The left, which were the "right" socilaists, and the right. Meaning, everything different from what he considered to be correct socialism.
This debate has been raging ever since. Parroting this division only serves to reinforce the acceptable discussion line.
In reality, there is freedom and there is slavery.
if there is no bodily freedom, there is slavery
if there is no mental freedom, there is slavery
if there is no spiritual freedom, there is slavery.
IF freedom on these 3 magisteria exists, civic freedom is existent, otherwise, there is only slavery.
This book was written in February of 1776, 5 months before the declaration of independence, where governments exists to protect: life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness. Meaning, on both sides of the argument, this distinction was well understood. The choice by the politicians in Britain was to reject this notion under the pretense of it not being practical, and delusional.
Maintaining the discussion in the left/right paradigm only serve to the keep alive a falsehood.
Ha. We've been fighting libtards for milenia
Amen. Children of Darkness Vs Children of Light.
It is a never ending battle between Good and Evil.
Only Divine intervention can break the stalemate.
It’s actually talking about the left hand vs the right hand. Not liberals vs conservatives. Still cool though.
It says nothing about hands its talking of hearts not hands.
My point is it isn’t talking about political left and right.
People choose their political party from the heart so It actually does mean political.
No they don’t choose their political party from the heart…I get what you’re thinking but no.
Yeah well it doesnt refer to political leanings but to biblical correctness. it also says to turn not to tje left nor to the right. Only straight at God on Gods Word. Tje politucal left and right are two branches of the same dead tree.
Oh you are right. Walk straight.

You can’t disagree with Solomon to whom God granted great wisdom.

You’re correct. It shows even the wise can mess up, but it comes by not continuing to follow God.
You saw the comments? They were all up in arm.
Two were crucified with Christ. One on the left, one on the right, CHRIST in the middle. One rejected Christ, the other did not. CHRIST remains in the middle, waiting our decision.
Amen
The angel sits on the right shoulder.
Yes. There's one on the left also.

I was definitely the left b4 but I saw the truth and change side.

This was once well understood. See the book written by Richard Price: https://archive.org/details/observationsonna00pric

Thank you. I need to remember that.
