Meh. The pic on the left has both people standing on an uphill slope. Thus Bill would be taller than Hillary. The pic on the right is with both on the same level floor.
That slope is not 4 or 5 inches,if their is a slope.
Combine the slope (which is there) with what is mentioned by BWC above and you could explain the difference.
Her back foot is almost in line with his.

Slope is also optical illusion created by higher camera position
People shrink as they age. I shrunk an inch and a half from my top height. 3/4ths of that came after a back surgery.
That's way more than an inch and a half between these photos and she's even wearing similar height heels in both.
I think on the left he's standing on a higher portion of the ground than she is.

According to this written before the side of beef throw, she was 5'7". Bill is/was 6'3". We all shrink. She has heels on in the taller pic. For me, it's the face and body, specifically the butt. I think beautiful Hillary is a double.

Camera on left positioned higher, at eye level with Bill, looking down on Crooked, plus she is standing closer to camera, lowering her apparent height.
Camera on right position is lower and they're standing together the same distance away.
