Michigan Democrat leaves party: It’s ‘impossible’ to be a ‘faithful follower of Jesus Christ’ and a Democrat. (Basically what it comes down to)

🤡 DEMAGOGUES OF SATAN 🤡
It took her until 2026 to learn that?
That was my first thought.
Better late, than never.
She did take a long time and that is sad. Today's bible readings included the "Prodigal Son." Please be pleased that she has awakened and turned from her evil. She has found and realized that the love of the Father is more important than anything in her life.
in the old days the preacher-man would have wised you up loooong ago. since then the gov has passed a few "laws" with penalties. abolish the IRS.
I pray that by her resigning for this reason, God will use her to awaken those who think they can be Democrats and Bible following Christians.
Abortion is evil - that should stop anyone who thinks they are a Christian from supporting any aspect of the Demon party. Or any RINO who supports abortion.
Or any libertarian who supports murdering babies.
It likely took a great deal of courage for her to do this. I’m betting her family members are all or mostly democrat, and her upbringing taught her to be democrat, so she would be breaking with her family and acting contrary to a lot of what she was taught. Instead of criticizing her for bowing to darkness for so long, how about recognizing her courage and what it must have taken to wake up and stand for her faith?
You literally cannot be pro life and be a democrat or call yourself a Christian and be pro choice.
A little nervous. Sometimes they switch parties to be a RINO.
well said
Identifying as anything but Chistian is a wastenof time. Including republican. I dont see her supporting trump.
Run under another party.
How could you have been a part of the deranged dems all this time???? YOU ARE NOT WELCOME IN THE GOP. You know how the dems operate. Now start working to get rid of them.
Getting out before the blood bath.
How long does it take? Gods timeline.
LOL
Michigan Democratic Party Chair Curtis Hertel said, “Good riddance” in a statement to the local news outlet. “Rep. Whitsett’s decision to not seek re-election is a net positive for her constituents and all Michiganders. We look forward to electing a strong Democratic candidate to represent this district, especially one who actually shows up for work,” he said.
Democratic state Rep. Karen Whitsett missed four straight months of House session last year but continued to receive campaign contributions and spend thousands of dollars out of her House campaign fundraising account, according to a Detroit News review.
Whitsett, who unsuccessfully ran for Detroit City Council last year and previously said she was battling chronic migraines, missed all 30 session days for which representatives' attendance was taken from Sept. 1 through Dec. 31.
