I swear by Apollo Healer, by Asclepius, by Hygieia, by Panacea, and by all the gods and goddesses, making them my witnesses, that I will carry out, according to my ability and judgment, this oath and this indenture.
To hold my teacher in this art equal to my own parents; to make him partner in my livelihood; when he is in need of money to share mine with him; to consider his family as my own brothers, and to teach them this art, if they want to learn it, without fee or indenture; to impart precept, oral instruction, and all other instruction to my own sons, the sons of my teacher, and to indentured pupils who have taken the Healer's oath, but to nobody else.
I will use those dietary regimens which will benefit my patients according to my greatest ability and judgment, and I will do no harm or injustice to them.[4] Neither will I administer a poison to anybody when asked to do so, nor will I suggest such a course. Similarly I will not give to a woman a pessary to cause abortion. But I will keep pure and holy both my life and my art. I will not use the knife, not even, verily, on sufferers from stone, but I will give place to such as are craftsmen therein.
Into whatsoever houses I enter, I will enter to help the sick, and I will abstain from all intentional wrong-doing and harm, especially from abusing the bodies of man or woman, bond or free. And whatsoever I shall see or hear in the course of my profession, as well as outside my profession in my intercourse with men, if it be what should not be published abroad, I will never divulge, holding such things to be holy secrets.
Now if I carry out this oath, and break it not, may I gain for ever reputation among all men for my life and for my art; but if I break it and forswear myself, may the opposite befall me.
I understand the Greek gods reference and why it's there but, "I swear...by all the gods and goddesses" doesn't that right there just make the whole thing inherently evil? Like the 1st of the 10 commandments or something. Edit: that's bad grammar. Ummmm maybe let's just say the 1st one says we shouldn't be swearing on other.false gods.
I understand that but in my mind perhaps it should be "updated" to fit our country. We swear to God on the Bible in a court room, or when taking office, why can't we do that for this oath? I'm no doctor nor will I ever be but I can say I would have a hard time taking this oath to swear to false gods. It's not my hill to die on here, just my two cents that nobody asked for.
The Hippocratic Oath taken for doctors:

Hippocrates, known as "The Father of Medicine," lived 400 years before Christ. Apollo and the other "gods" were the only deities known to him.
Modern doctors no longer use that version of the oath, but an updated version that has the same principles concerning ethics, patient rights, etc.
I did not intend that for its literal meaning, but for the spirit of the Hippocratic Oath, which boils down to, "First, do no harm."
They sure don't practice that?

How do they sleep at night?? 💔🤬
You know, the "powers-that-be" recognize and recruit the people that have a bent toward a complete lack of humanity.
Therefore, I bet they sleep fairly well with the kind of bank balance their purposeful dismissal of inexpensive, obvious treatment buys them.
They scoop up the mid-wits to fill their institutions. These are the useful idiots. They won't question shit as long they're kept fat and happy.
Their souls will burn in hell...🔥
I asked that to A Dog because he used to hang out with them. He said they sleep during the day in coffins.
Kek.. he's one smart pup! u/ashlanddog
Nope.
That's why they stopped taking it last century.
They swear to the dollars now.
You thought they said Hippocratic oath? No, no, it's the Hypocritic Oath.
Oh you are right.
They're taking an oath to demonic entities. I think that explains a lot.
"..... Apollo Healer, by Asclepius, by Hygieia, by Panacea, and by all the gods and goddesses,..."
We should not have been shocked when they betrayed mankind during the plandemic.
