You forgot one of those letter groups. The CCP. For decades they have supplied the IRGC with tech and weapons. Iran would not be where they are without the CCP - especially under Xi who wants to be world emperor.
The CCP is allowing the IRGC to use their satellite navigation system for targeting. The PLA has a spy ship right there in the Arabian Sea feeding Iran targeting information and they are gathering intelligence on US operations for their own use later if they make a move on Taiwan. There have been Chinese operators and technicians on the ground in Iran for years. Some have even been killed in the latest strikes. Just because China does not have PLA boots on the ground does not mean they are not heavily assisting Iran against the US. I think that was a big reason why Trump delayed his April 1st visit to Beijing to meet with Xi - Trump was given intelligence in mid-March as to the extent of the CCP's interference. There is a reason God spared him and I know he knows that. He is prosecuting this war at great risk to himself politically. Many in the party are not happy with him right now because they simply don't understand the decision he was faced with, or, they are actively working against him because they are part of the club. I have no doubt that Trump has done what he has because of credible threats that could no longer be kicked down the road. I do too - quite regularly. My focus is researching the original Hebrew and Greek the texts were written with and trying to understand it through the contemporary lens of the time that the authors wrote it. It does make a difference rather than our interpretive lens 2000 years or more later where our life and experiences gives it a different framework. English also does lose something in the translation unfortunately and looses some of the nuance and idiomatic expression only conveyed in the original languages. I find many English translations wanting - so I have many for comparison. Bible gateway is also a good resource to compare. There are just some verses in the Hebrew and Greek that only make sense in the original language. The translators did the best they could with these difficult passages.
It also involves exploring other texts that were widely circulated at the time that influenced the Biblical writers and their thinking. Revelation in particular fits a very typical pattern of Jewish and early Christian apocalyptic literature of the day. John used very similar language and themes. Not outside of the norm for that genre of religious texts. It does make some of the symbolic language John used more easily understood - especially to his readers of the day who were already familiar with many of these texts. Then there is the historical context the events took place in. They were real events for real people living through them at the time. It is near impossible to understand Rev without also understanding the historical backdrop of those difficult times.

It is true. The reformers in the government never have been given any real power. They were mostly given positions for show to the world. Most are there not to govern, but to obey orders in return for financial benefits. They also are not interested in true reforms as their title suggests, but they too also want to stay in power and stay alive. The Iranian people will not except this because they know the reformers are no better than the hardliners - they are just more subtle in their approach.
The mullahs and the IRGC had called the shots. But when the Ayatollah was killed, the IRGC took control from the mullahs and basically neutered them. Mujtaba was installed by the mullahs with a gun at that heads by the IRGC, at least what was left of the mullahs after the first strikes. The IRGC needed to have a religious leader to give them legitimacy for the minority of Islamic supporters - but it also had to be someone they could control. Khamenei's son is just a cardboard AI figurehead and we are not sure if he is even alive. Alive or dead, I don't think it makes any difference to the IRGC as long as they keep their base believing the propaganda. But even some of them are starting to balk.
The IRGC is full of Shia messianic apocalyptic hardline radicals that have no hesitation burning it all to ground and killing millions if they can. If Trump is indeed trying to negotiate with the reformers, they have no power to do anything. But, by doing this Trump is also causing major fracturing within the regime itself. They are turning on each other and some are even hunting down reformers. Given enough time, they will destroy themselves.
So this analysis is spot on. I have heard the same thing from other Iranian dissidents that still have close connections inside Iran. I think that Iranians themselves have a better handle on what's happening within their own country than someone from the outside.

Trump didnโt leave the new leadership up to random chance. And Trump is going to keep bombing until there is zero offensive capabilities outside their borders. Part of the deal with the other gulf countries. Also eliminating as much of the IRCG as possible and getting all of the uranium delivered to the US. My understanding is that a lot of IRCG is hold up in tunnels on the other side of the big bridge that we destroyed. Cutting them off from Tehran. At any time we can seal them in.

China is taking a financial hit right now. Right on target. They have been papering over a financial collapse for years. The oil shortage is adding stress. Also, China wonโt get $8 discounted oil anymore. There are several powerful families in China. I think Xi knocked two of the families. But that also made the other families on edge. Right? They lost the $20/barrel oil from Venezuela and now the discounted oil from Iran. It's not that they can't make up the supply from other sources - it's that they will have to pay market prices for that oil. Xi's sister was getting $20 oil from Venezuela and then selling it to small teapot refineries at $40-$60. The Xi family has vast holdings in oil, construction, rare earths, and real estate. They are worth trillions. So much for fighting corruption.

The crunch on oil is already having huge impacts on manufacturing and logistics. Textiles and plastics have taken a big hit. Teetering factories already on the edge were finally pushed over the edge and have shut down laying off thousands of workers during a time of already absurdly high unemployment. Like you once did, I get a lot of information from actual Chinese dissidents with connections still in mainland China. They often leak information outside just so the story is told. They are fed up with the system but don't see any way out. They are waiting for the collapse of the CCP. China resembles the Soviet Union in their final years - seems to be the same trajectory to failure. Following CCP internal politics is like watching a Chinese imperial drama.

Xi appears to have lost some of his absolute control based on recent events. When the CCP leadership cannot protect one of their own, and possibly related by blood, that speaks volumes. I am speaking about the takedown of Ma Xingrui, a politburo member and close ally of the first lady Peng Liyuan, and possibly her cousin. That takedown has been spreading a much wider net that is involving the wives of several powerful players. Watch the wives. Not surprising. The entire system is corrupt - that's a given.
It appears that Xi's efforts to regain control of the PLA seem to have failed after his takedown of Generals Zhang Youxia and Liu Zhenli. The military has pushed back through silence and other CCP officials have also not cooperated. Xi has gotten himself in somewhat of a legal pickle taking down Zhang, a former close ally and a princeling, as well as a standing committee member and vice chairman of the CMC. Legally, a NPC member cannot be taken into custody without prior revocation of their NPC membership. That didn't happen. Then there is the unwritten rule of taking down another princeling. Usually there is more of a secret removal of NPC membership after an arrest, but Xi seems to not have obtained that in the case of the two generals. So he is stuck and the whole affair appears to be deadlocked. If Zhang died while in custody, as some are alleging, that makes things even more difficult for Xi.
