The Intel investment was reportedly funded by converting $5.7 billion in unpaid CHIPS Act grants and $3.2 billion from the Secure Enclave program into equity
Cue, a dem judge will rule that Trump has to sell these stocks and return all the money back where it can be laundered to the Dems.
The price of gas is a big deal. Many people don't look at stock charts. They are counting change and putting $8.37 in their gas tank and hoping it takes them to payday.
We shouldn't trash those less fortunate. But understand, and help them to undersatand.
The straight is a problem yes, but gas is cheaper now than under ChinaJoe. ChinaJoe and the democrats are worse than war. We can prove it with #'s.
And yet there is a hidden advantage when many people have this heuristic: it adds pressure to all gas stations to lower prices. So I'm glad that people do this.
It’s not just the price of gas. Most things are still 3-4x as much as they were just 5 years ago. If all this money is coming to the US, why are our wages still not inflated like our prices? It’s not Trump’s fault, but he should address it and make sure that money isn’t just sitting in the stock market, but actually in our bank accounts. Otherwise why would the average man even care?
The problem is a huge percentage of the population votes with their pocketbook/wallet.
Don't forget one of the main reasons President Trump won was because he promised to lower inflation and get grocery store prices down. Remember the whole price of eggs thing?
The same people who voted for Trump because they thought it would get them to keep more of their money will be voting again, with the same priorities.
If inflation and grocery prices and gas prices haven't improved by midterms, then I think the Democrats are going to flip the House.
If they aren't improved by the 2028 election, whoever the Democrat nominee is will most likely win.
I think too many people here forget that ~40% of voters identify as Independents and will vote based on their personal interests and not any sort of political ideology.
Not all votes against President Trump are fraudulent votes. I'm not saying voter fraud doesn't happen. It does. But there are real people out there who are not happy about how the economy is and will vote against whoever the Republican presidential nominee will be based on how the economy is, just like they voted against the Democrat nominee last election.
Just remember that whenever we mock normies that are complaining about the economy/grocery prices/gas prices/inflation or even just acknowledge they exist, those are all going to be votes for the next Democrat nominee if things don't improve. Don't act shocked when it happens.
I agree. They will fall for whatever lies the DS tell them this coming election cycle and vote for them. That said, I think Trump still has time to change voter sentiment. Not a lot of time, but some. If the price at the pump affects independents and normies come summer vacation and travel season, it will cost Rs votes or voters sitting the election out. We know and understand there is a reason and greater purpose for all that's happening. They dont and they also dont care. So we shall see. Like Trump says, let's see what happens.
ABSOLUTEDLY, but I guess people are stupid and Trump is TRYING to educate them. I listened to a woman today who was one of the biggest beef exporters in Australia CALLING out MSM for NOT exposing Chinas tariff on beef 55% as against Trump at 10%.
Here’s what I observe in communist Michigan when talking with others, at least in my area- a lot of people waking up and wanting change, but secretly hoping that it doesn’t happen because it would end their 15 hour a week work/government assistance living. Until we get through to these deadbeat losers and/or offer them something better, shit will never change.
With regard to the price of gasoline. I can honestly say that although the prices are high right now, I am still paying less than the $3.99/gal I paid during the Obama admin. So far, the highest I have paid for gasoline has been $3.77, which is still a little less than I paid per gallon in May and Jume of 2014. At one point in the not so distant past, the Trump admin got our gasoline prices down to $2.12/gallon. If he did it once, he can do it again. I'll trust that he's working on it.

I bought as soon as I heard Trump bought; April 2025. 446% increase to date.
Same, I bought $5k worth and I'm selling it today because I think fuckery is going to happen ASAP.
Yet, the only thing a lot of nomies focus on is "Duhh....I paid x.xx at the gas pump this morning and this is all Trumps fault!.

It does suck though. I understand the how's and why's, it's fine, but when I drive 300+ miles a week just to get to work and back, yea, it stings.
Temporary pain for long term gain.
Those same normies will drive 9 miles in a 27 mpg car to save $0.04 per gallon putting 15 gallons into an 18 gallon tank at $3.86 per.
Not like I’m perfectly optimized by any means, but… it’s irritating to be stuck in a car with someone while they’re doing this. Oh well.

When I was a kid, we had gas wars. You'd see prices drop 4-5 times a day. Not any more.
Nope. Now we see gas stations that raise prices when busy and lower them when rush hour ends.
Like King Tut, who gave his life for tourism, these intrepid math-nonadjacents bravely and willingly waste their time so we don’t have to.
Hear, hear!
I worked for a medium sized company that did even worse cost analysis than that. Or lack thereof, I should say.

why should they even have a vote to tax others for their living? parasites, my dad called it out decades ago.

It was 4.39 near my house in rural NC, where are you?
Central Texas. I paid $3.77/gal on Friday. Today it is down to $3.67. It goes up and down about 10 cents at a time around here.
What about the $9 billion in Minn & the $1 trillion in Oh?!!
I am not a fan of this!
What happens mid the government takes a controlling stake of these corporations.
That’s called communism!
They will own the means of production.
