Refineries shut down forcing CA to buy foreign refined oil products on the open market when they had their own refining capacity that they destroyed because of their green war on fossil fuels and their wacked overregulation of the sector. When Iran happened, Newscum and his Dem cronies in Sacramento conveniently shifted the blame to Trump. The Dem voters never ask the question as to why other places around the country are paying far less than they are. Sometimes half as much. Duh! Put the blame for the outrageous gas prices where it belongs. Even if oil prices come down, CA and the states that get their fuel from CA, will still be paying higher prices for their fuel. Glad to see Chevron telling the truth. Let's hope that other companies do the same.

Damn people there were always saying it was to protect the environment so we have more expensive gas. Yet, their states burned more than any other in the south with lower gas price. Once I was in TX, I saw how they managed their environment and it was a lot better. You do not have thick undergrowth and once burned, torched the whole place.
