I watched an interview with an ex-con a few months back. These guys do NOT do well in Federal prison. Threatening another mans family puts him barely above a pedophile.
I'm sure that some time in prison will do him good, he'll change his mind about the protest and stop being an activist. The prison time definitely won't make him become more radical in his current worldview.
