What makes me so angry with this is that my son-in-law, from England, had to wait to come over to get the visa to marry my daughter and since they were living with me, I had TO SIGN AN AGREEMENT THAT I WOULD ENSURE I SUPPORTED HIM until his naturalization or green card to work. Basically he should have just crossed the boarder illegally.
My sister-in-law is from England. My brother and she had to go back and forth every 6 months for 2 years AFTER THEY WERE MARRIED!
This illegal alien stuff just gets her blood boiling.
Family member had a catastrophic work injury. After two years of fighting for his SS disability… finally had to go to court with lawyer and prove his disability in front of a judge. He wasn’t even sposed to be out of bed. Judge took one look at the doctor’s report and the x-rays and was pissed. Hearing was over in 7 minutes. Judge wrote a scathing letter to SS admin and back dated payment to original injury date.
He was fortunate (good judge) but it should never have had to happen. It’s infuriating to watch the DS pass benefits out like candy to the illegals and the undeserving.
Exactly!! WTH? My sister in-law has debilitating gout, she gets it frequently and in different areas of her body, the worse is probably her back. Along with having heart issues. And she had to get a lawyer to fight for her.
I have all kinds of problems, back, neck, hips….pain everyday, and have Meniere’s…. I haven’t even tried to get disability because I don’t think they will give it to me unless I pay a lawyer. I know they will say my husband makes too much money and deny me. My sister in law paid her lawyer a % of what she got paid (backpay).
This is why the government pay SS retirees so little compared to what they would have gotten from a private retirement account. Plus the money in the account goes to heirs. The government just steals it and gives it to illegals. Same with Medicare.
It's the quickest way to immediately feel like you're in a foreign country. And you don't even need a passport.

My wife is Filipino. We had to pay like $4k so far to get her visa and green card. And hours of time in offices all over the area
