Nutrition’s “Dark Matter” Exposed
Scientists now say the food labels you trust barely scratch the surface of what you are really eating — and Washington has almost no plan to catch up.

Does this have something to do with the "Natural and Artifical Flavors" that I see on my labels?
Possibly even more hazardous are GRAS ingredients. Generally Recognized by who? The companies profiting off them?
I just read that sweeteners have erythritol in them which damages the blood brain barrier, I think in The Highwire. It's in monk fruit and stevia sweeteners. Then I read ingredients in sweet (not low sugar) yogurt and it contains stevia too. It's everywhere. So I bought plain yogurt last time.
Not all stevia sweeteners contain erythritol, but most commercial blends do. Pure stevia extract is derived solely from the leaves of the Stevia rebaudiana plant and contains zero erythritol.
Some manufacturers frequently blend it with erythritol to provide bulk, texture, and a more sugar-like mouthfeel for tabletop use. Check the ingredient label. Products labeled simply as "stevia extract" or "pure stevia" typically do not contain erythritol.
Blends labeled as "stevia sweetener" or brands like Truvia and Splenda Stevia usually list erythritol as a primary ingredient. THOSE you avoid. I buy "Stevia in the Raw" which is a pure Stevia blend with Dextrose. Dextrose and erythritol are not the same. They are chemically and biologically distinct substances with opposite effects on the body. Dextrose is a simple sugar (glucose).
You're right about Monk Fruit sweetener. AVOID.
Pure monk fruit extract is 200 times sweeter than sugar, so its blended with erythritol as a bulking agent that provides volume and texture, Most store-bought Monk Fruit sweetener (e.g., Lakanto, Splenda Monk Fruit) use a base of 99% erythritol with a small amount of monk fruit extract. It's almost all erythritol. AVOID.
I'm starting to get really annoyed with these artificial sweeteners. I also read that Sucralose (600 times sweeter than table sugar) literally breaks apart our DNA. It also destroys our gut microbiome. It's in almost everything. I swapped to Monk Fruit and stevia sweeteners only but now I'm really baffled. Were literally not able to enjoy ANYTHING these days.
I use stevia extract without a problem. I do have an issue with erythritol though. Things like “stevia in the raw” do have that added, but stevia on its own is OK, imo and in my experience. I’d love to be able to find monk fruit without it. Edit to add: I just read the above and I guess I avoid stevia in the raw due to the dextrose, probably being from GMO corn.
I did come across monk fruit without erythritol in my research, so it exists.
Technically...dog shit is 100% all natural... so yanno
Not even that anymore.
Not just that, but the pesticides and herbicides used during the growing season that the plants take in and either transfer to the foods or are outright absorbed by the foods when spraying is done after the plants have fruited. As well as any chemicals used after the harvest meant to help keep fruit and veggies fresher longer. On top of that, there are some chemicals used in the food production process that have been deemed "safe of human consumption" here in the U.S. that are banned/outlawed in almost every other nation on Earth due to their potential to cause issues like cancer, gut issues, skin problems, etc.
I'll bet it does
How 'bout we get our food from gardens and local farmers instead of dealing with this bullshit?
Relevant to this discussion:
I would not be surprised if the FDA nutritional facts on the label are completely made up.
Honestly, we shouldn't be relying on the government to give us nutrition information anyway. Food labels should be entirely left up to the private sector. Good food companies will be transparent about their products and ingredients. Consumers will reward good companies by buying their products, so the issue is self reinforcing. Private third party companies can provide testing data to paying subscribers. Then none of your tax dollars are being wasted, and you can spend whatever you want on food, depending on how much risk you're willing to personally accept. This would also reduce the overall cost of food by not burdening food companies with ridiculous "health and safety" regulations. Seriously, people occasionally get sick from what they eat. That doesn't mean we need to recall and destroy tons of food.
Wrong.
Do you honestly trust Black Rock, Bezos, and Bill Gate or Rockafeller cunts to honestly represent the poison they're selling us?
If the Uber rich have the ability to buy up entire farms and ranches, and food processing plants and companies, then there's zero reason for them to advertise honestly. Plus, they can just form a cartel and all lie about the same poison anyway.
No, I don't expect them to. What I expect is that there will be a market demand for third party verification. Once people realize that not all food is safe, they will be much more keen on seeing where their food is coming from. The FDA incentivises people to be lazy because they know that whatever they're buying from the store is likely to be safe. By removing that, we encourage American values of resiliance, hard work, and self sufficiency.
No one reads the fucking labels. It's sick to see. No one cares because they weren't taught to care. This is how they get away with it and poison people.
If what you said were true then we would only have good food companies by now.
The reason we still have bad food companies is because people think they are safe because of the FDA. If we remove the FDA, people will wake up and seek alternatives. This will take some time to adjust too, and I think early on, there may be some people who die or are severely injured by unsafe food. This is an important part of the process. It will wake up the normies by letting them know that not all food is safe (which is the case now) and they need to get independent verification. The system is self correcting. Then if people start getting lazy, bad actors come in and sell bad food. This system will punish laziness and reward resiliance, which is the kind of values we want to instill in the next generation.
Yeah I really don't think that would happen. It's clear some people just don't give a fuck.
I would love for that to happen but I just don't see it working out that way.
We can explain how cotton seed oil was turned into food by Procter& Gamble after lightbulbs were everywhere and they made the American Heart Association to convince people it was safe, but people don't believe it's bad.
Maybe if the whole diseased temple is brought down and exposed then people will wake up to the poison. We shall see I guess.
Sure, some people don't care, and that's fine if that's the risk they want to take. Things might get pretty bad for a while, but even that would be good because it would encourage people to start growing their own food instead of just depending on grocery stores for all their needs, which is a big part of the reason we got here in the first place. This would have numerous other benefits as well. Growing your own food really grounds you in reality. I've never seen someone who was good at gardening question their gender.
Hahahaha. My garden is transitioning to be a supermarket oh wow it's so brave!
My only problem with the way you see it is that would mean that the white hats are going to let evil be evil longer than it needs to be.
I hope they find the kill switch for it.
In order to get the best results, evil often is allowed to persist. Otherwise, how else would you explain how slow things have been to change? Our fight is a generational one. The elite cabal has had centuries to dig in. It will take more than just a few years to dislodge them. I expect it will be a few decades before things really kick off and reach the point where we have public trials and accountability. But that's OK, it will be worth it. Maybe not for us, but our children and grandchildren will live in a truly free world. We must be patient, we don't want to rush this.
My wife eats “healthy” and everytime she finds a food she likes that has very few ingredients it gets bought by a big company and they change it.
The thing is...
In all honesty, you shouldn't have to read labels AT ALL.
You SHOULD be buying RAW foods and preparing them yourself. One of the biggest offenders is bread. LOADED with crap.
Another OFTEN overlooked item is: What are you drinking? What's in it? DRINKS are a major source of health problems that go unnoticed.
There are a number of factors that have contributed to most being completely disconnected from their health.
The hijacking of humanity's thousands of years of remedies by the cartel
Suppression of tried and true remedies & outlawing natural solutions
The poisoning of our entire food system with pharma/ag chemicals - in depleted soil.
But blaming the devil isn't going to do anything for your health. YOU GOTTA COWBOY UP & EAT THE RIGHT FUEL!!!
You don't want the devil's legions keeping you from doing God's work because you can't lay off the Chick-fil-A soylent MSG bullshit now do you? but they're closed on Sunday! It's time to grow up...
The BOTTOM LINE IS:
You should never consume ANYTHING that wasn't once alive.
You pick the freshest, cleanest food possible, because it has the most life force energy - aka ELECTRICITY. Look how many people are eating DEAD FOOD - All day, every day & washing it down with some dead liquid poison.
Live food contains enzymes - these live enzymes carry life-force energy. Processed foods do not. VOLTAGE IS LIFE - When you're cellular voltage is diminished, you get sick. When you're dehydrated - and many are chronically so, your INCREDIBLE machine cannot operate correctly.
There are things you know.
There are things you know, that you do not know.
AND - The largest slice of the pie:
There are things that you don't know, that you don't know.
I am here telling you that you don't know that there are parts of your natural self that are not working properly because you're not electric enough and/or poisoned with shit food. Eating properly & cleanly expands your consciousness...and even makes you smarter. Don't be a dumbass.
u/#catdance
Amen!
The whole label racket was likely created to deceive and at best is very vague guidelines. Lots of phuckery going on with them.
But even your raw foods will have chemicals and bullshit in them.
Do the best you can...
You can at this point be "all fiddlesticks" about anything... even if you grow it yourself.
This is interesting, thanks for posting it. I can attest to this, since I recently had to learn about FODMAPs, different types of sugars in food. That’s on top of avoiding things like MSG and foods high in oxalate. I was eating things that are supposed to be healthy but for me they cause problems.
You're better off with single ingredient foods. Then all you have to worry about is the pesticides and GMO.
Grandma had a lifelong garden. Said it was important to grow our own food and to get hn the dirt every day because our bodies are salt sugar water and electricity. Her recipes are basic ingredients. Lotta healing with prayer and aloe vera and duct tape. And after coming thru the depression and WW2 and Nam and JFK she didn't trust or depend on the government. Her food was safe and simple. All blessed by God. She drank water with aloe vera in it scooped outta the leaf. Lived decades longer than the doctors said she would.
Thanks for this post. I hadn't heard this elsewhere.
I tried not to eat anything that it is in a box, I prefer more natural.
