Prayers are the most powerful weapons we have. I have asked for them and seen firsthand what the prayers of the many here can do.
I don't engage here nearly as much as I used to, (mainly because i'm much busier than I used to be) but I make it a point to pray in response to everyone's prayer requests that are seen by me. I know many other brothers and sisters here do the same.

I feel wrong asking, but I could definitely use the assistance. I am thankful for my many blessings, but I still struggle tremendously, in many ways. I've never felt as lost as I have for the past year, so numb, and completely lacking direction.

I know many people saying the same thing is happening to them too....you're certainly not alone fren. So much is happening so fast and from so many directions, it gets me overwhelmed at times, I too seek God and his peace. Seeing reality, and the evil out there is both a blessing and a curse.

Dear Lord, these are trying times. Please strengthen all who are struggling with your presence for you are so much bigger & more powerful than any fear or concern we have. Comfort them with the understanding that while we were yet sinners Christ died for our sins & that forgiveness is available for every single one of us who repent and we will be forgiven & filled with your Holy Spirit, your helper who will remind us of all you have said & promised. Our name will also be written in the Lamb's Book of Life. How amazing to know our name is written for eternity in the Lamb's book!!! Praise your name!!! As we falter & worry, draw us back to your presence, your Word, & your promise so that we may feel your peace in our lives. Guide us each day & let us see you at work in our lives. I ask all this in Jesus' Mighty name & to your glory. Amen.

I take care of my elderly Dad, the last year or so he has been talking about God. He asked me to call a specific preacher to visit him. It was a good visit . My Dad is thinking about getting baptized. I pray he understands the love and grace God has for us and embraces our Heavenly Father through Jesus .
May the Loving Hands of the Lord pour down on your Dad and may peace he find peace...In this, we ask...Amen!!!

I pretty much do the same, I pretty much never leave a comment, but I'll upvote and pray for anyone making a prayer request on principle. Jesus said where two or three gather he'd be right there with them. So it's the least any of can do to take two or three minutes out of our day and pray for a brother or sister in need when we SEE they need some help.
