Three SCOTUS decisions. One is historic. Two are misreported. Here's what actually happened — and what it means for the Deep State and the SAVE Act.

🧐 Research Wanted 🤔
"In sum: we got one decision that massively and historically expanded Trump’s executive power and drove the stake deeper into the Deep State— according to his own reckoning, the dissent, and the Editors at the NYT. And then, we got two lukewarm decisions; thin, tasteless legal patties that give Democrats two buns of ‘winning’ without any beef inside.
And maybe the ‘losses’ create a menu for more conservative consolidations. So be encouraged, maybe even enthusiastic. Nothing happened in yesterday’s decision except that the Swamp’s water levels fell even lower. The Slaughter decision changed everything. May the draining continue."
Good read for anyone dooming about yesterday's Court cases.
Thanks for introducing me to this substack writer. I've read his stuff now for a while, and have a question for you, since you've been reading him longer than I have. He says TAW a lot. What does he mean?
"Trump Always Wins" (eventually)
This is my theme song for the day. Thank you 🙏
Trump Always Wins
(No wonder Google search didn't tell me.)
Thanks!
So, according to Sotomayor, "independent agencies" are a 4th branch of government? Note to Sotomayor: If they don't CURRENTLY fall under either the Legislative, Executive or Judicial Branch, that's what they are, and would thus be unconstitutional.
Also, this is a good take on the latest Supreme Court rulings.
Thank you for posting this. It does help me feel much better about yesterday.
Hopefully his next post will help me feel better about the birthright citizenship fiasco.
"SCOTUS scotched a 91-year-old rule allowing for unaccountable “independent commissioners” to be placed on various important boards and powerful federal commissions. That rule was created amidst progressives’ Cambrian Explosion Period, in the infamous 1935 case of Humphrey’s Executor v. United States, which arguably launched the modern deep state."
I love that this article points directly to the modern root of the problem; FDR taking control of the Executive Branch away from the CEO.
What we need now is an un-packable SCOTUS. I have an idea on that, but I'll start a separate post.
Humpries case (29JUN2026) and Chevron Doctrine (gone 28JUN2024) were the two main pillars supporting the Deep State unconstitutional Administrative State. Now both GONE. Great progress, but more peeling back to go.
There are 3 branches of gov't constitutionally. "Independent agencies", just like adminstrative courts (gone 27JUNE2024) are not a REAL THING. Key question for SCOTUS:
Article III courts do not supervise them (you are not part of us, the courts), they just decide cases when the Independent Agency authority is challenged, leaning on unconstitutional "precendent" and "historical understanding" that is all WRONG.
Article I Congress claims to have oversight authority because of the funding provided, implying that the Independent Agencies are either part of the Executive Branch (Article II) or the Judicial Branch (Article III).
Article II Executive claims to have authority over Independent Agencies, but so far, SCOTUS does not completely agree.
If none of the above 3 branches of Constitutional gov't have authority over Independent Agencies, then they must be abolished, or it must be revealed what they really are...Private Corporations fraudulently masquerading as gov't entities.
If the agencies in question execute ANY function authorized by the government, they are EXECUTIVE agencies (they execute actions) and fall under the President. "Executive" is a descriptive adjective, not a window-dressing.
Very good explanation
Excellent analysis of the SC rulings.
This was exactly what I was waiting for. Supreme Court decisions are seldom explained in headlines. The devil is, indeed, primarily in the details.
Love Coffee and Covid's analysis, thank you for this encouraging post!
Thanks for posting this...it helped clarify the decisions for me.
This post needed an eye bleach warning.
Thanks for this post.
This was a good read. Thanks for posting!
