I'm tired of this stupid and dangerous sentiment. The people of Western countries are not their governments. Most governments were installed, not elected. Learn who your true enemies are, instead of condemning an entire country of people. Hell, there are probably English frogs on here that are more patriotic than you!

The CROWN and their “NOBILITY” (and the CoL) has been their problem, and they didn’t bring that problem onto themselves, they’ve just suffered it for 350 years since James’ lineage was removed.
Granted, a lot of the doughboys there aren’t fighting those things, but they still have a share of patriots there.
Just heard a good theory a few days ago actually - the reason their masters are trying to replace them with Muslims now is because enough of them no longer want a king so as to where it’s getting to be dangerous, whereas the Muslims are perfectly happy to have a king, and like the socialists, the masters think they’ll be able to step in and rule the ashes after the resistance is crushed.

There are places where cries of “f the ‘royals’!” ring out quite commonly.
It’s not that they’re figureheads, it’s that they were creditors who used an expeditionary force to seize control of the top levers during a period of instability and weakness from a generation of kings that wasn’t prepared.
Not familiar with the other lineages of Europe, but given that they’re all closely related, and all out of the Prussian lineage, I’d guess that similar events happened elsewhere as in 1671.

Interesting, because roughly the same time period, although 100 years earlier, the Catholic Church was in jeopardy due to various debts. Financial corruption was one of Martin Luther's valid criticisms (saying this as a Catholic myself). That was a good time period for weakening competitors and gaining power.

It isn’t the ordinary citizen, it is the political class that allowed mass immigration, just like here. The average citizen does not support illegal immigration or Muslim cities governed by Sharia law, or Chinese police stations. It is our bought out, corrupt Congress, mayors, governors, police, etc.
Imagine still wanting to fly the flag when your own government vilifies you at home for doing so.
I remember a veteran who put up with large daily fines from his HOA about flying the flag. He would not give in.
And I remember football teams disrespecting the flag in mass and the fans walked away. My son has still not returned.
The British need to just say no and keep flying it. They also need to stop being afraid of the word racist.

The real story is that the Europeans are shocked by how much they like the US, the parks, the people, things we don't usually count as our finest cultural moments, but ARE. We're looking at you, Waffle House. You're America and loved worldwide. Who knew? Again and again, the same story: "They lied to us. We apologize."
The media is now spinning "Sport has brought all these people together. It's the power of soccer". They just now made that up.
It's seeing clearly and beginning to question the narrative.
If anything, the game is kind of shitty, the organization is fleecing the fans, the refs are corrupt, and not worth anybody's time. The people are fantastic.

Scotland and Wales yes, Northern Ireland has a national football (soccer) team, but athletes can join either the Ireland or GB teams for the Olympics.
Worth considering that the other countries are tiny - England has about 58 million, Scotland about 5.5 million, Wales about 3.2 million, Northern Ireland about 1.9 million. Greater London alone easily dwarfs the other countries combined populations.
The Republic of Ireland has 5.2 million people.

A soccer team is what 11 people? Even Northern Ireland, with 1.9 million people, should be able to find 11 that are interested in playing. If not, wouldn't you just wait until the next year and see if you get more takers?
I want to know why civilized countries do not sanction them. Didn’t we bomb Syria because the president was supposedly harming his own citizens? This is real harm, real tyranny.
