When I was a maintenance company commander, we recorded Apprenticeship hours for our skilled tradesmen troops. NOTE the NCOs, the Warrant Officers, and the command had to make sure their hours were recorded.
As the heavy maintenance company for the division, we had a machine shop called the BatMobile! Lathes, etc. to make parts from scratch.
HET drivers, etc. I certainly wanted all their skilled hours to be recorded.
ArmyLady...NOW you be speaking my language...Worked for a "small" engineering company in Texas and the Big Guys would ALWAYS pull into to the shop and ask..."can ya' fix this?" And it was some of the gol' durn stuff you would ever imagine!!!!!!
One guy came in and his brakes were stuck...We asked him if he checked his fluid levels....mind you, this was back in the '70s and not everything had sensors like they do now!!!!!!!!
AHHHHHH, FOND MEMORIES!!!!! Tango Yankee for the thought...Hand Salute, Young Lady!!!!!!
Maybe the Q plan all along was primarily to get those military boys home to drive trucks. Things that make you go Hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm...

How about arresting all state administrators that issue ICL’s to illegals? If necessary, up to the governor and any state legislators that approve this.
Imagine an economy that runs with US veterans delivering good across the USA? This would lead to a golden age we can tell unborn generations to come for years.
The classic "Deuce and a Half" (like the iconic M35A2) has 5 forward gears and 1 reverse gear in its main transmission. However, it also features a 2-speed transfer case (High and Low range), which effectively gives the driver a total of 10 forward gears and 2 reverse gears.
Diesel semi-trucks typically have anywhere from 10 to 18 forward gears. The most common configurations are 10, 13, and 18-speed transmissions. Some heavy-duty or specialized trucks can even have up to 20 or more gears.
Hear, hear! During college summers, I kept a job as a harvest driver for the local pea harvest. My multi-ton flatbed truck had 5 forward gears and a 2-range transaxle. It took a little bit of getting used to, but I did get to the point where I could (for example) accomplish a 2nd(high) to 3rd(low) in one movement if I was picking up speed with a full load. But that was enough for me.
I like this idea, but we definitely need to work on the quality of life in the trucking business. Its not just a job, its a lifestyle that isn't for everyone, and the companies aren't making it easier.
While that's true as well, we're also talking about companies willing to hire non- english speaking/understanding foreign drivers with little to no experience...
In other words, companies who are willing to send horrendous time bombs out on the road with innocent victims. I think the corporate veil should be pushed aside and responsible officers charged with being accomplices before the fact of any death by manslaughter that has occurred, with unlimited financial penalty (what is a life worth?) and throw-away-the-key incarceration.
I'm a hard-ass on this point. I saw on the inside how the 737 MAX MCAS disasters came about and how Boeing's first response was to blame the victims.
Now start bringing those boys home to drive those trucks.
That is not how maintaining global energy hegemony works. This is for all of the homeless vets in america already. Now they have jobs.
I bet we have a lot of national guard troops, that qualify for this.
Nice win.
A shit ton of homeless vets should get these jobs first. Most national guard have jobs. It's called the national guard.
I don't disagree,if they have current military licenses or can be trained quickly. A lot depends on how many they need. And what the pay is.

What kind of insane comments is Nick Sortor saying?
He is saying Trump screwed up twice this week and Mullen needs to go.
For types like that, their favorite holiday is Overween.
Back when I was in the army NCOs had to get qualified to drive Duece & 1/2’s. Nothing like driving them with all those gears….
Except driving diesel semis. That is like it.

Nobody wants to work!

You all know me and how many times I’ve spoken about the issue with illegal and unqualified CDL drivers on the road. LFG!!!!!!
I love Trump. Talk about thinking outside the box.
