It states that, with regard to senators and representatives, “for Speech or Debate in either House, they shall not be questioned in any other Place.” The Framers of the Constitution wanted to encourage debate in Congress, and they did not want that debate chilled by the threat of lawsuits.
Remember, Congress can lie with impugnity while in session. Legally.

No. They aren’t scared of the people at all. Why would they exterminate everyone, and waste decades rebuilding? They have spent your tax money building their safe places, away from any harm that may come, this is a game, and we won’t win it. Last year was their beta test. Americans roll over and give up. They’re was no pandemic, but we allowed them to bitchslap us unabated for going on 2 years now.
They aren’t panicking at all, they have planned all of it out and ensured their own survival. They aren’t scared of the people, and last year showed them how Americans have zero fight. Bread and circuses.
