Our battle is not against you my brother in Christ. I know there is a lot of shade on Catholicism but we around bound to adhere to dogma, doctrine and the teachings of Christ as it was instituted 2000 years ago.
Contraceptives destroys health and most important it goes against God’s gift to us. Sex isn’t supposed to be just sex but rather a unitive act between a husband and a wife that’s entirely self-giving along with procreation. God told us to be fruitful and multiply. Birth control needs to be eliminated .
We can forget the overpopulation narrative, God wouldn’t have us procreate without the means to provide for us. It’s just the (D) party is so addicted to the death culture
The word “know” here doesn’t actually mean “possesses knowledge of” but is something closer to “possesses the authority to dispense the knowledge of.”
St Paul uses similar language in 1 Cor 2:2 and the context makes it clearer there. “For I resolved to know nothing while I was with you except Jesus Christ and him crucified.”
