I can understand you’re ambivalence about the Pope. My personal belief is that Benedict is the real Pope-he never abdicated- Francis is the puppet. I had only went as far as my first communion so for about 6 months I went back to catechism and confirmed my faith this past Easter. I learned so much about the faith I didn’t know. There were 4 of us adults in class - 2 Catholics and 1 baptist and 1 jehova witness. The church is more than the Popes or the Priests - it’s the people. So if you don’t like the vibe of one church try the next town over. They have adult classes where you can ask about all the things that bother you. One night they had ‘stump the deacon’ night- where he would answer questions about all the sticky subjects. And as most people don’t realize deacons are a married priesthood in the faith. They can do everything as a priest except consecrate the host & absolve sins. My church has 2. Going back has been a huge blessing in my life- and I pray all can find the peace this has given me.
2021 I started going to church again- mainly b/c the government was shutting them down b/c of COVID and I felt compelled to say no way are they going to infringe on that right. So I told myself- go every Sunday & holy day for 1 year. I was praying at home every day- but alone. Bible tells us if more than 2 pray in His name He will hear. So then and even now I realize we NEED each other every Sunday. We need to collectively pray together to our Creator and Sundays are the day. The pastor or priest is just the pizza delivery man- he delivers the message-but We The People make up the Church. The church is only as good as it’s people- so we ourselves need to contribute in order to make our church’s great again. Corruption is everywhere- but just as we should get more involved in local politics and school boards- so should we go back & take space in our church’s. My church is now my rock in my community and I’ve met some of the nicest people & am proud to be included- my only regret is that I waited so long. I thought I could just pray on my own & didn’t need the church. But there is something very inspiring when an entire congregation is praying the same prayer to the same God. I feel strengthened for the next week. When they say put on the armor of God- that is it- prayer, fasting & staying within Gods commandments. It’s our only protection against all this evil surrounding us.
I couldn’t agree more- enough with the circles & arrows. I’ve been here since the beginning but I don’t consider myself an anon b/c I don’t decode anything. I read the drops & the news articles & make the connections on what truth Q is trying to point out. I do believe some drops are for us- and some aren’t. We have more than we know and yet we still don’t have a full picture or understanding. I never thought it would go on as long as it has and yet here we are. I do believe collective thoughts & prayers have an impact on the future- so maybe this is our real purpose. That’s the purpose I choose to focus on right now anyways- besides sharing memes of course .
It wouldn’t surprise me if November elections were canceled/delayed. But like the other poster said- I don’t think Trump being the first arrest wakes anyone up- the left would celebrate. My thoughts were always somebody like Obama - that would be a massive trigger for all. There was this prophetic message I heard that talked about something happening to Biden (death/sickness) where he can no longer be President & Kamala after a couple weeks tells Nancy she can’t do it & is stepping down. Nancy then petitions the Senate to vote & install Hillary - they decide to vote- but vote Trump instead & that’s how Trump gets in for his 2nd term and the world is shocked & dumbfounded. I know that doesn’t have anything to do with an arrest- idk why I just typed it lol
Been doing this with my 4 sisters over the last 5+ years- but Roe vs. Wade decision got them all riled up. I’m the only pro-lifer - I warned them about the day of rage & they threw the Jan 6th trump fiasco at me. All I can do is pray for them. Their eyes will have to open without me. I’ll just be here when they do 🤷♀️
I always said Americans are ready for the famine- other skinny countries won’t fair so well. If neighbors/communities can share & barter we don’t all need to grow fruit. Maybe trade some eggs for deer meat? I grow potatoes & my neighbor grows corn? The point is we’re going to have to unite and work together. We all live our separate lives now & have been for decades- and look how it’s going.
Over the last couple of years I’ve been the same- slowly working on disengaging from what is false & toxic & trying to focus on the end prize- making My Lord & Savior a priority in this life. This really hits me right at the moment b/c I’m currently staying at my sisters house-a die hard Democrat - quadruple jabbed- however she recently bought a house near the beach & her husband died 3 months later. I herniated my disc a couple weeks ago so I can’t do my normal golf or other things I typically like to do. Anyways- said I’ll spend a few days with her doing what she likes to do- went trinket shopping yesterday- she buys every shiny thing she likes- ok- that’s what makes her happy- she was all happy & on a high yesterday. Today- I said the only thing I have to do is go to church- after that we can get breakfast & do whatever. She like made fun of the people at church- then after breakfast said I want to stop home first to go to the bathroom before we do anything. She was edgy & irritated- opposite of happy yesterday buying trinkets. Ok fine- anyways got home- then said she was gonna lay down for a bit. She’s more interested in the boob tube which I barely watch. By then I was just irritated. She is almost 20 years my senior and I swear it’s like her soul is almost empty. She’s got like 1 thread left. If she was offered the chip right now b/c Gates said it she would do it. All I can do is pray- it’s the only real weapon we have against all this false shit we are surrounded with! It IS the armor of God. Pray people of God pray! Like a 401K account - fill it! The heavens & the earth need us to for Gods will to be done.
I read the #1 commodity during the depression was not gold or silver - it was eggs! I don’t have chickens as I have no experience but I’ve noted the neighbors who do have them - also the closest orchards & those who have honey. For meat? Idk - gonna have to fish and hunt birds & such 🤷♀️
I’ve had a couple of dreams now where the weather is not normal- like rain that has fish eggs in it- but you don’t notice until it’s on you. IDK how else to explain it. In my dream I knew immediately it was some type of weaponry & ran for cover.
No it’s not-this is what Protestants think-We don’t worship Mary or the Saints . Intercessory prayer addressed to the Virgin Mary and the saints isn’t worship- but spiritual communication. Devotion, honor & veneration is not considered idolatry. Catholics believe that if humans can and must honor their parents then it’s only logical to honor the faithful servants of God who lived holy lives on earth and are now in heaven before the throne of God. Jesus himself showed honor to the dead such as Abraham & Moses.
