Others do not think that is "great". It should be simple to understand why, if one is being intellectually honest.
Edit: People disagree on literally everything so it is simple to see why americans would argue over what is great and what isn't and how to achieve that greatness. People do cost benefit analysis over everything and for different reasons with varying levels of info and varying levels of trust. It is intellectually dishonest to deny this reality. But many peoole do, and instead pretend that they're chosen reality is obvious to everyone. Much frustration comes from this approach.
Any time a headline or a topic is trying to get your attention using fearful language, you know you are being psyoped.
