lol well that’s either a serious signal or someone trolling us.

He did say something to the effect of he believes something is wrong… some conspiracy something or other. But sorta stresses not to say it’s for sure this thing or another. I did think that was good advice. We got a lot of matter of fact types out there with no real “proof” and that can be damaging when you’re trying to wake people up. To be clear it wasn’t a don’t look up sorta thing, more like bring some facts if you’re going to make claims. That’s how I interpreted it at least.

this isn't a sophisticated hack if you even want to call it that. in fact, if these systems were setup in a similar way, a very basic script could be given to whoever that would execute the mentioned fuction in this video. sql studio is used as a front end to manage the database but isn't required.

It's likely the same could have been accomplished from command line. so if for instance USB isn't locked down (it should be but we know it probably isn't), a bad actor could plugin a flash drive, to execute these same fuctions, person pulls the drive and walks away.

To add to this… there were some math geniuses working on this stuff and basically proved how the win was impossible. Now you know what would have made the most sense to me? To have some liberal math nerds come out and prove us wrong. But it never happened. Truth is they know they stole it too.

Don’t get too excited about this. The document clearly says it’s voluntary. Also, the “testing” is done by certified labs. Maybe if the testing was fully transparent, by security researchers aka hackers I would be happy about this. But the moment they open that up, there will be countless issues found.

This document also mentions how they allow patches after the certification. So a vendor could in theory have a clean version, wait for certification then push a back door out in a patch.

In short, I don’t see this as a win. More like a talking point to pretend things are being done, and most people won’t question since they don’t understand IT/cybersecurity.

So we know it was stolen however, once it’s eventually proven, did our forefathers have a contingency for this particular event?

As a Catholic, there are many who didn’t believe the previous Pope was legitimately put in place, however once the position was assumed and everyone accepted it as such it actually doesn’t matter.

I mention that as, I am assuming this might role the same way.

That reminds me. All Biden pardons were revoked, so those would be some easy arrests. Saying use of the auto pen wasn’t valid due to the capacity it was used in felt like a win but if nothing is going to happen as a result of it then it’s all for show.

no wonder it took so long to release, they've redacted everything. I can't say I'm surprised though, I predicted this would happen. I'm just disappointed I was right.

Great point. It’d be fantastic to have a registry for this event. Where these drivers and associated trucks are flagged. I get that not every driver is an owner/operator but that’d lead you to whoever is hiring.

I can just imagine a network of these guys telling each other where to get new docs. They’re already here illegally what do they have to lose.

I am always impressed by hearing about every contingency they had put in place. And equally saddened to find when certain things were retarded to allow the corruption they were trying to prevent.

when Rush came up, it got me to thinking he's probably right about this awakening years ago. I was just a teen in the 90s but remember my grandmother listening to Rush all day, and going on rants about the government this and that lol. (I had no interest at the time, but she did live long enough to see Trump get elected which I'm sure she thought was awesome).

I also remember my dad telling me stories he heard at local gun shops related to things things Bill Cooper wrote about, and other common conspiracies we all know about now.

my point is, these people (like us) have been around for a while, so it only make sense they'd have been online somewhere. even if it were some random message boards, irc, etc. what wasn't around was social media to help amplify these thoughts/opinions.

I like that idea a lot. I also like the idea of our representatives being every day people. I would be okay with a lottery of representatives based on party. lottery picks these 7k people. If you're selected and don't want it, pass and someone else is randomly selected from your district.

While cruising my city’s sub reddit I’m seeing reports of ICE in the area. Of course everyone is freaking out. Anyway there is this common talking point about, well they aren’t just arresting illegals they’re arresting all minorities. These people seem to actually believe that if your Mexican and or dark skin you’re getting arrested.

Does anyone know where this came from ? I imagine it’s possible someone could be in the wrong place wrong time. But I personally don’t believe there are just mass arrests of legal citizens. Anyone know how to respond to this nonsense ?

Side note im finding it a little humorous that moms are traveling to low income areas and basically camping out at bus stops where they think ICE might come steal kids??? even if true what would these moms do??? They think dudes will be like…. Boss, we for one angry looking moms out there. What? How many??? Ugh at least like 12. … oh shit call off the operation. I just can’t….

Well said. It’s funny when these things happen everyone is like omgz it’s happening !!! More to your point, events like this would put more eyes on systems making it more difficult to get things out. There are some memes/likely theories that most recent outages have to do with poor automation/people relying on AI to deploy changes/updates. …. ChatGPT push these changes to prod. Make them scalable. Oh and make sure they don’t crash the environment. wipes brow.

It’s a pretty powerful tool to protect and handle traffic to your site. It also helps protect your site from DDoS attacks. One by simply filtering the traffic but also hiding your environment behind cloudflare. Person try’s to access your site, request hits them first. If it’s good they’ll route to your site IP space. Could they be compromised be whatever agencies? Maybe/probably.

I'm not sure if I would expect anything important coming from this. There is a key phrase in here. "...whatever they are legally entitled to..."

we've seen this numerous times with other things. oh we can't talk about this or release this because its part of an active investigation. oh here are the pages but we've had to redact every word.

Oh yeah I think there were three of these movies. Basically backpackers who stay at these Hostels get abducted, then rich people pay to torture them. Part III is specifically about the hunting club.

Haha yeah I did something rare recently which was engage with someone on Reddit. There was this ridiculous talking point going around like, well Trump thinks the white house ball room is more important that snap/feeding the hungry! Iaid our some points about how that’s bs and why doesn’t anyone care about all the waste and fraud found by doge??? Guy is like oh those numbers are exaggerated/ false. I ask him to provide something to back this up. Sends me an NPR article that was a year old talking about a typo in doge reporting. Then guy is like well… I don’t believe anything this admin says!

It’s super frustrating. These people are in their own echo chamber screaming lies at each other. While I guess so are we but we’ll dealing in facts not feelings.

It reminds me of Covid. Trump admin pushes our vax in record time (not a vax guy here) but people on the left are like I’m not taking that vax trump made it!!! Trump doesn’t get his second term so suddenly the same people start taking the vax lol. This really is clown world

lol this would largely be the only benefit to allowing this to continue. Everyone who supported it finding they helped prop up a machine that hates them.

I also want to add that it’s so bizarre to me how there is support for things like public prayer just so long as they’re Muslim. However if a group of Catholics did the same there would be outrage.

I haven't looked to hard but I haven't seen any freak freak outs about this yet. We've seen riots for much less.

I had roughly the same idea but also provide the minimum. Unfortunately it’s going to be pretty painful for people who need it but maybe that’ll create enough noise to get it right.
