My wife worked in the public schools for 17 years. She left years ago when common core came about, she saw the piece of shit, refused, they said "comply" or else. She took the or else route and told them to screw off. Now she teaches for a home school co-op. It's growing like a weed, the school she teaches at can't grow fast enough, demand exceeding capacity.

People are running from the government indoctrination camps that the normies call public education.

You are welcome. I was interested because my daughter and my wife are preparing to homeschool our granddaughters (2&4), so I had come across Calvert while poking around at curriculum. Anyway, long winded way of saying I was curious. It's a pretty tangled web of shit. Vistria is a very woke company with many ties with known shitbag companies. Birds of a feather I guess. It's damn sad, I'm sure Calvert was great before they got ate.

Edmentum quietly purchased Calvert Education Systems back in 2019.

https://news.elearninginside.com/edmentum-acquires-calvert-education-services-to-expand-reach-and-blended-learning-curriculum/ https://www.finsmes.com/2019/07/edmentum-acquires-calvert-education-services.html

Note: Edmentum was critical e-learning tool, this is also noted in the below article regarding Vistria. Edmentum majority owner was non other than Blackrock and New Mountain Finance.

https://www.pehub.com/vistria-becomes-majority-stockholder-in-edmentum/

Important note in above article. “Edmentum, stewards of the PLATO Courseware and other online learning solutions….” Now see below.

“CDC focused PLATO on delivering computer-based instruction and training for the U.S. Department of Defense and other agencies” https://www.britannica.com/topic/PLATO-education-system

As seen is this article PLATO has been around for 60 years and a key tool used in internet educational resources and exchange of information. Even utilized by the DOD and agencies, spawning it's own program.

Then in 2020 The Vistria Group invested in Edmentum. “This investment in Edmentum will add a powerful suite of K-Adult instructional programs into the Vistria portfolio. As a premier provider of education solutions in the market today, Edmentum’s unique blend of research-based digital curriculum, assessments for learning, and educational consulting are unmatched.” https://vistria.com/the-vistria-group-invests-in-edmentum/

The kicker line to the whole this in the above article. “I would like to thank our current investment partners, New Mountain Finance Corporation and funds managed by BlackRock, for choosing to continue with Edmentum, and look forward to Vistria’s support in our next phase of growth.”

So, in 2019 Calvert was bought by Edmentum (PLATO / CDC), in 2020 Vistria bought interest in Edmonton. So, Vistria, Blackrock & New Mountain “owned” Calvert.

Calvert got assassinated by Blackrock and PLATO.

I worked for a fortune 100 company for 30 years in middle management. This is 100% accurate. It was a shell game. We even had crossover board members. It’s all an illusion.

Hey there Indiana! Oh freaking Luger, what a piece of shit. Don't get me started. I'm 63, I remember that bonehead well. And I hate that Pence is from Indiana, but many people here need a good "jolt". Especially in the church community that he was from. I dealt with them when I worked in a ministry for 13 yrs, they need slapped down about 8 notches. So many of these idiots are dug in like ticks in some of these counties. I'm in a highly "red" county (80%). But our Mayor and his drones don't even pretend to be RINO's. They are just blatant. Our school board is a 1st class shit show of Social Justice twats. I guess I should be thankful to be around so many Patriots, but we need to clean house like any other state.

I live in Indiana. Holcomb is pond scum. We act all conservative and talk about being a red state. However, there is a current of this crap running below the surface. Our government is just as corrupt as the next, we're just more quiet about it.

What if Trump is forced to move to X tonight due to "technical issues". Likely not, but fun to think about!

I strongly believe this riff serves multiple purposes from an "exposure" standpoint. IMHO the whole chip manufacturing in Taiwan thing is going to be exposed. I was in the auto electronics industry when we shut down fabs in America and moved to Taiwan, 15- 20 years ago. I was on the team that did the financial business case, and my team along w/ purchasing, quality, engineering, operations managed the transitions. The whole thing left many of us shaking our heads daily. It wasn't right, none of it made sense and we were all veteran middle managers of a Fortune 100 company. The risk was huge, but overlooked. Chip lead-times are 12-16 weeks, and then transit, handling, plus oversight. Backdoors can be done very easily and virtually undetectable if the proper base is installed during the fab process. Taiwan is the leader in chip manufacturing. I think they have been a part of putting back doors into every chip they produce...or a very high %. Anyway, just my thoughts after having a bad taste in my mouth for 20years.

We watch Jack here and there. He's not totally awake, but the dude is definitely WIP. He's pretty bold in some of his comments from the pulpit. I despise mega churches (after working in a ministry for 13 years and seeing behind the curtains), but for a mega church, he speaks some truth.

I know about where Tipton is, east of Cedar Rapids. NOTHING out there but corn fields. Of course that's about 80% of Iowa. I know quite a number of farmers out there.

LOL. Yep, welcome to my old world. We never had to worry about losing keys, they were always in the truck. Didn't lock the doors, otherwise neighbors couldn't get in if they needed something. Amazing how far things have fallen in my lifetime.

Hippies! LOL. We were in polar opposite environments. 1979 Grad. Midwest, tiny town of 50 homes surrounded by farmers and farmland. Nearest 50K town was 35 minutes, largest "city" was 2 hours. It was very conservative. I was not exposed to much until college. I quickly became a hippie leftover. Life went from there to Texas and back.

Now, here we are fighting in the same battle together. Crazy shit.

I was in high school in the 70's. There are some great videos out there of footage from high schools etc. It's amazing to watch and see all the differences. And, yes, take my phone, tv and all the technology back and lets go back.

My 30 yo daughter & husband are very awake. She has found a kids dentist that is awake & has rejected the typical treatments, such as fluoride. Her main Dr. is also anti vax and doesn't even offer vaccines unless by request. It feels like they are growing in numbers pretty rapidly. My youngest granddaughter is a complete pureblood. She's never had a needle in her arm.
