It sure looks that way on the surface, but the current op seems to be to keep morale from plummeting while the media stirs shit up and things get done out of sight. LARP or not, George keeps people's spirits high. They aren't datefagging false prophets, at least.
As much as I like gaming, this is primarily a Q board. If you want to discuss more gaming related topics there's a .win for that.
I actually have both Win98 and Win98 SE floating around here from ye olden tymes. I don't know if you could send it or not, the pre-configued drive is probably a few gigabytes in size and you can generally only upload something that size with a paid service.
The Guest Additions offer the following features: ...
Better video support. While the virtual graphics card which Oracle VM VirtualBox emulates for any guest operating system provides all the basic features, the custom video drivers that are installed with the Guest Additions provide you with extra high and non-standard video modes, as well as accelerated video performance.
In addition, with Windows, Linux, and Oracle Solaris guests, you can resize the virtual machine's window if the Guest Additions are installed. The video resolution in the guest will be automatically adjusted, as if you had manually entered an arbitrary resolution in the guest's Display settings. See Section 1.8.5, “Resizing the Machine's Window”.
If the Guest Additions are installed, 3D graphics and 2D video for guest applications can be accelerated. See Section 4.5, “Hardware-Accelerated Graphics”.
In addition to drag and drop, mouse integration, etc etc. It's not the same as running native but if you're running Diablo 1 or something similar it should give you plenty of GPU go-juice to work with.
Jokes on them, I've been mostly retro for years now. Games have sucked for a long time. I don't think it's any coincidence that randomizers are popping up to breathe new life into old games, while the big boys are busy cranking out remakes and remasters.
I haven't upgraded my PC since 2013. My PS4 has barely been turned on since I bought it ~4 years ago. The last thing I bought was one of those retro emulation handhelds. It's great, best purchase I made in over a decade.
I don't think the top one is about not questioning the plan. It's more that people are oblivious and dooming because they can't see things at work. Certainly, question the plan. Make contingency plans. Be ready for just about anything. It's going to get a lot worse before it ever gets better.
It's definitely fuck-y. I doubt the prop master handed anyone a loaded weapon. Most likely it was brought on set and swapped/planted, or the whole thing was premeditated murder.
I ask myself why would anyone point a gun at someone, prop or not? But then I remember that there's a lot of dumbasses that don't even bother to learn the basics of gun control...
This was already posted and garnered a bit of discussion. Still adamant about this infographic needing to inform/remind people how to take screenshots.
