You are correct it is 1599 edition, it says Herbert, 248-- the earliest of the 1599 editions that he records. With a introduction by Michael H. Brown about ten pages long

I just did a quick search online, many versions now.

When I purchased my Geniva Bible, it was $600 in the early 80's

I'm glad I had the opportunity to purchase at that time.

Here is another link for reading, 1560 Geneva Bible free online internet archive.

If it were me asking this question again like I had forty some years ago, going deep dive.... still.

I would buy a 1599 reprint Geneva Bible, with the scholarly side notes. find a cheat sheet and read them in chronological order mine not only has side notes on every page but also referenced on the bottom. Make's the thought occur for more research. And dive in!

This was the cumulation of Martin Luther 1517

Remember these Genevia Bibles were ordered destroyed, ships cargo confiscated the bibles ordered burned and to be destroyed by the pedophile know as king james. He also ordered the King James translation which had some, say, translation issues. Hum I wonder why?

The simplest answer why he ordered it destroyed was the theory of Devine Right of Kings. in a nut shell was a theory that if " God " allowed the King to be King, the people must suffer him no matter how depraved, The Scriptures of the Geneva bible and history in the side notes COMPLETLY different, if you had a King that was depraved or violated " The Law " he was to be removed for the good of the kingdom and its people.

The churches are ALL corporations, with Statements of beliefs as their Dogma that require following, without question... I have known serval friends who after many, many years of study as elders of their Corporation simply asked for a study time to address the " churches " Policy " " Statement Of Belief "may not actually be following biblical Scriptural foundations, should we study to see if possibly we need to modify our statement of belief if its in direct conflict with scriptures? Both thrown out of the " Congregation's " one was an Elder JW one was 7th day'ers.

The 1611 Genevia bible written by people for people. I have one, it was a little tough at first to get accustomed to the Ye Olde English, but after a while no problem.

Mine is a facsimile original, has an introduction of its history, ordering destruction by the pedophile.

The closest organized church I can find that want to follow Scriptural foundations is United Church Of God, they used to have the Good News Free magazines everywhere. they use very common-sense language to prove their points. They follow the Holy Day.

I'm not a " Member " but they are in my humble opinion the closest to following scriptures and explaining in a common since way that I could find.

One of the biggest problems I had was UC of G uses some mason's lodges as there gathering places... I didn't like that at all, but I got to do some snooping and really was totally distracted by the Masonic regalia everywhere.

Two other comments, they did a couple things to make Bibles confusing besides in what was done in it the year 300 or so decided to remove certain books from the collection of books known as the bible... then they broke down each of the book into chapters 1227 Stephan Lanfton, first printed 1327 Wycliffe bible and then verse, The verses of the Old Testament were developed by a Jewish rabbi named Nathan in 1448. The New Testament's verses were developed in 1551 by Robert Estienne!!!!... the books were categized by the number of pages, NOT by historical Date! taking them out of context further. Now anyone can simply take one verse completely out of context add it to another verse maybe even out of another book and say " This Is What Its All About "

One last comment, I had read some Apocrypha books, pretty confusing to me, However after reading the Geneiva 1611 over and over.... and over when I jumped back to apocrypha books I could see very plainly to my mind which ones seemed to fit and others left wondering "What "

Sorry for thy highjack, your questions brought to mind some of my early struggles

You're welcome, Interesting little info.

I give out Commods foods in Calif. been doing it for years, At an old The Grange Hall. Officially named The National Grange of the Order of Patrons of Husbandry. At the only building that remains that was also, as so happens to have been old CCC camp/barracks of about 7 buildings plus out buildings, ( I actually have an old picture of the camp.) from the 30s good ol Roosevelt New Deal.... Chicken in every pot car in every Garage.

While reading the old booklets I was surprised to see that the Grand Pooba was required to make oaths that to whom the books would be given, to learn the masonic like rituals, make appointments for leadership etc. that no one else was ever allowed to view the hardback booklets in there possession and he was required with the upmost urgency to know where every single copy was at all times.

It surprised me because I always thought of the grange as simply farmers sharing crop info and the like... yes and NO! they wear regalia, have rituals, opening and closing...

Way more of a secret society than I could have imagined than I had thought and I had been reading about Masons, Jesuits, Rosicrucian's and the like for years, I only skimmed the top but then had to check if they were mason related... because it looks like they recruited teens and young adults it looks like a precursor to Masons

Gallaudet U is also credited with creating American sign language.
Gallaudet went to YALE! TWICE!!! the Skull & Bones connection! at 14 years of age then returned in 1808... Hum?

" Signed. Sealed. Chartered. In 1864, Gallaudet University became federally funded when President Abraham Lincoln signed the charter bill into law, leading to our first commencement in 1869–whose attendees included none other than President Ulysses S. Grant. Read About Lincoln's Legacy at Gallaudet Charter Day Celebration "

https://gallaudet.edu/museum/history/the-legacy-begins/

Statue of Thomas Gallaudet with Alice Cogswell Thomas Hopkins Gallaudet meets Alice Cogswell and Laurent Clerc Thomas Hopkins Gallaudet (1787-1851), for whom Gallaudet University is named, was born in Philadelphia, Pa. His family later settled in Hartford, Conn., the home of his maternal grandparents. A brilliant student during his early years, Gallaudet entered Yale University at age 14 and graduated first in his class three years later. He returned to Yale as a graduate student in 1808 after having served a law apprenticeship and studying independently. After earning a master of arts degree in 1810, Gallaudet worked as a traveling salesman. However, having been raised in a family deeply rooted in Protestantism, he felt called to the ministry. In 1812 he enrolled in the Andover Theological Seminary, graduating in 1814.

Gallaudet travels to Europe Gallaudet’s goal to serve as an itinerant preacher and was put aside when he met Alice Cogswell, the nine-year-old deaf daughter of a neighbor, Dr. Mason Cogswell. Cogswell, a prominent Hartford Physician, was concerned about proper education for his daughter. He asked Gallaudet to travel to Europe to study methods for teaching deaf students, especially those of the Braidwood family in England. Gallaudet found the Braidwoods unwilling to share knowledge of their oral communication method. At the same time, he was not satisfied that the oral method produced desirable results. While still in Great Britain, he met the Abbe Sicard, head of the Institut Royal des Sourds-Muets in Paris, and two of its deaf faculty members, Laurent Clerc and Jean Massieu. Sicard invited Gallaudet to Paris to study the school’s method of teaching deaf students using manual communication. Impressed with the manual method, Gallaudet studied teaching methodology under Sicard, learning sign language from Massieu and Clerc, who were highly educated graduates of the school.

Returning to America Having persuaded Clerc to accompany him, Gallaudet sailed for America. The two men toured New England and successfully raised private, and public funds to found a school for deaf students in Hartford, which later became known as the American School for the Deaf. Young Alice was one of the seven students in the United States. Gallaudet served as principal of the school from 1817 to 1830. He resigned from his position on April 6, 1830, to devote his time to writing children’s books and to the ministry. The American School for the Deaf still educates deaf students today. It is the first permanent school for deaf children established in the United States.

History In 1856, Amos Kendall, a postmaster general during two presidential administrations, donated two acres of his estate in northeast Washington, D.C. to establish a school and housing for 12 deaf and six blind students. The following year, Kendall persuaded Congress to incorporate the new school,...

Here is the another part of the problem, that could give the " Alien " plausible deniability, whether or not he understands it, at the time, and then who's investigating and charging them? or is it just a plain outright plank for part of the steal, after all some have been paid to migrate as we seen from evidence Brandon, Killery Et al. give em everything and a free house! Vote Demoncrat.

Truethevote, the code section Cathren talks about, is, " Title 18 USC Sec 611 (c). Subsections 2 and 3 must both be true for this to be effective. Subsection 2 requires the alien voter to have been a permanent resident of the US before the age of 16. AND Subsection 3 contains the exception stated, " (3)The alien reasonably believed at the time of voting in violation " of such subsection that he or she was a citizen of the United States. Boom! just more numbers for the traitors.

However who is checking if they were a permanent resident prior to the age 16 as required by 18 USC 611 paragraph ( c ) Subsection (2) the alien permanently resided in the United States prior to attaining the age of 16; and Subsection (3) the alien reasonably believed at the time of voting in violation of such subsection that he or she was a citizen of the United States.

18 U.S. Code § 611 - Voting by aliens U.S. Code Notes prev | next (a)It shall be unlawful for any alien to vote in any election held solely or in part for the purpose of electing a candidate for the office of President, Vice President, Presidential elector, Member of the Senate, Member of the House of Representatives, Delegate from the District of Columbia, or Resident Commissioner, unless— (1)the election is held partly for some other purpose; (2)aliens are authorized to vote for such other purpose under a State constitution or statute or a local ordinance; and (3)voting for such other purpose is conducted independently of voting for a candidate for such Federal offices, in such a manner that an alien has the opportunity to vote for such other purpose, but not an opportunity to vote for a candidate for any one or more of such Federal offices. (b)Any person who violates this section shall be fined under this title, imprisoned not more than one year, or both. (c)Subsection (a) does not apply to an alien if— (1)each natural parent of the alien (or, in the case of an adopted alien, each adoptive parent of the alien) is or was a citizen (whether by birth or naturalization); (2)the alien permanently resided in the United States prior to attaining the age of 16; and (3)the alien reasonably believed at the time of voting in violation of such subsection that he or she was a citizen of the United States. (Added Pub. L. 104–208, div. C, title II, § 216(a), Sept. 30, 1996, 110 Stat. 3009–572; amended Pub. L. 106–395, title II, § 201(d)(1), Oct. 30, 2000, 114 Stat. 1635.)

When you drive along the Oregon coast 101, EVERY SINGLE BRIDGE has an Obelisk's or two on each end and sometimes more depending on the size of the bridge.

I was surprised to see this as Oregon is the only state I had seen them, and not that they had done it, but every single bridge? from the CA border.

I grew up in Milwaukie Ore. and never recall seeing Obelisk's on the downtown bridges but they sure are on the costal bridges.

it's the only run I've made that I've seen Obelisk's so consistently, every bridge.

Beautification? just a coincidence I suppose?

They do not mention what the pesticide is, but it is mixed with the silver to help the filter... which seems strange to me as I'd think it would be more like a fungicide not pesticide to " help the filter last longer". But yes, the company admits the are mixing the pesticide with the silver to coat the filter. The company's complaint is it's not for pests it just helps the filter to last longer??? I would think any pesticide would be of concern to me. In that case I also think EPA would be wise in marking it with a pesticide label IMO.

4
Hailstone 4 points ago +4 / -0

From the Article, they do not mention what the pesticide is though. Hum.

"The use of the antiviral silver in Berkey filters has been found to trap more than 99 percent of COVID-19 strains, Mr. Norred said.

“Silver is often used in pesticides for pesticidal purposes. The EPA has latched on to the use of silver to protect the filter, and said you’re using silver and you are making pesticidal claims—poof, you’re a pesticide.”

We do use a registered pesticide that has silver in it. So the filters are technically a treated article because there is a pesticide Berkey uses to protect its filters. But that pesticide does not have any pesticidal purpose for the water. It just protects and lengthens the lifetime of the filter,” Mr. Norred added."

According to https://www.thegatewaypundit.com/2023/07/devon-archers-legal-counsel-responds-doj-intimidation-will/

Title Devon Archer’s Legal Counsel Responds to DOJ Intimidation – Will Attend Monday’s Hearing as Planned.

In response to the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Southern District of New York’s weekend request for Devon Archer to report to prison and the DOJ’s intimidation, Archer’s legal counsel fired back.

On Saturday, the Attorney’s Office asked trial Judge Ronnie Abrams to schedule a date for Archer’s reporting following a decision by the Second Circuit Court of Appeals to uphold his one-year sentence.

Archer was found guilty of two felony charges in his involvement in a scheme to defraud the Wakpamni Lake Community Corporation of the Oglala Sioux Tribe.

The Gateway Pundit reported earlier Sunday that the letter requested that the court set a date and time for Archer to report to a facility chosen by the Bureau of Prisons.

Assistant U.S. attorney Negar Tekeei revealed in a one-page letter that the prosecutors had previously asked Matthew Schwartz, Archer’s attorney, to propose a reporting date, given the Second Circuit ruling.

Schwartz, however, dismissed this as “premature,” indicating that Archer was contemplating additional appeals and had concerns about an “error” in the sentencing process. He has committed to responding to the U.S. attorney’s request by Wednesday.

Despite this opposition, the DOJ continues to push for Archer’s surrender date to be set, as stated in the letter, “The Government disagrees with counsel’s position that a report date should not be set, and respectfully requests permission to respond to any arguments made by the defendant.”

However, the court is not expected to make a decision before the scheduled meeting with the House Oversight Committee, and Matthew Schwartz has confirmed that Archer will proceed with his planned appearance on Monday.

Archer’s position, according to Schwartz, is that the timing of the DOJ’s request and his meeting with the Committee are unrelated.

In a strong statement, Schwartz put a lid on speculations surrounding the DOJ’s request.

“We are aware of speculation that the Department of Justice’s weekend request to have Mr. Archer report to prison is an attempt by the Biden administration to intimidate him in advance of his meeting with the House Oversight Committee on Monday,” Schwartz said in a statement.

“To be clear, Mr. Archer does not agree with that speculation. In any case, Mr. Archer will do what he has planned to do all along, which is to show up on Monday and to honestly answer the questions that are put to him by the Congressional investigators.”

Substack: It’s Time That U.S. Taxpayers Defund The Davos Sponsor – World Economic Forum

By Adam Andrzejewski

Davos. It’s a “playground” for the world’s billionaire business elite. Every year, like swans, the rich, pretty, and powerful people descend upon a picturesque ski town in Switzerland to mix with world leaders. They discuss shaping our future into a utopian global society.

For the first time since 2019, the 2022 Davos meeting will be in person beginning Sunday, May 22.

The host organization, World Economic Forum (WEF), founded by German economist Klaus Schwab, says it provides a platform for high-powered leaders to “shape global, regional and industry agendas.” It’s all pretty gauche, with heady thoughts about the world order. Much of this runs contrary to American values.

Attendees cough up $28,000 just for a ticket, with a coveted all-access badge fetching more like $50,000 – and that’s before attendees spend tens or hundreds of thousands on private air travel, ski chalets, and entertainment. Then, the event devolves into brazen networking among tycoons and public officials.

You probably didn’t even realize it, but you – the American taxpayer – helped fund the sponsoring organization with tens of millions of dollars in federal grants.

Since 2013, WEF received nearly $60 million from U.S. taxpayers. Our auditors at OpenTheBooks.com found that under the Trump Administration, the WEF received $33 million, which outpaced the $26 million in second-term Obama-era funding.

Why are American taxpayers funding this organization?...

So, how did WEF soak up nearly $60 million in U.S. taxpayer funding since 2013?

It was mostly through the State Department’s USAID; taxpayers paid $16 million to support the WEF Grow Africa program, which facilitated trade partnerships between agricultural businesses and African governments. Another $43 million went to WEF’s Global Alliance for Trade Facilitation program, to “boost competitiveness and business conditions, which are key drivers of inclusive economic growth and poverty reduction” in developing countries.

While we can debate the worthiness of those efforts, funding from the world’s greatest superpower only boosts the WEF’s credibility. In Davos, these Klaus-ocrats socialize with heads of state, diplomats and journalists. For example, the Great Reset discussions included IMF Director Kristalina Georgieva; Charles, Prince of Wales; and UN Secretary-General Antonio Guterres, among others. Presidents Trump and Obama both have attended meetings....

Martial Law - Military jurisdiction - Military necessity - Retaliation Article 1. A place, district, or country occupied by an enemy stands, in consequence of the occupation, under the Martial Law of the invading or occupying army, whether any proclamation declaring Martial Law, or any public warning to the inhabitants, has been issued or not. Martial Law is the immediate and direct effect and consequence of occupation or conquest.

The presence of a hostile army proclaims its Martial Law.

Art. 2. Martial Law does not cease during the hostile occupation, except by special proclamation, ordered by the commander in chief; or by special mention in the treaty of peace concluding the war, when the occupation of a place or territory continues beyond the conclusion of peace as one of the conditions of the same.

Art. 3. Martial Law in a hostile country consists in the suspension, by the occupying military authority, of the criminal and civil law, and of the domestic administration and government in the occupied place or territory, and in the substitution of military rule and force for the same, as well as in the dictation of general laws, as far as military necessity requires this suspension, substitution, or dictation.

The commander of the forces may proclaim that the administration of all civil and penal law shall continue either wholly or in part, as in times of peace, unless otherwise ordered by the military authority.

Art. 4. Martial Law is simply military authority exercised in accordance with the laws and usages of war. Military oppression is not Martial Law: it is the abuse of the power which that law confers. As Martial Law is executed by military force, it is incumbent upon those who administer it to be strictly guided by the principles of justice, honor, and humanity - virtues adorning a soldier even more than other men, for the very reason that he possesses the power of his arms against the unarmed.

Recusals are not always bad... from the article

"UPDATE, 5/9, 12:30pm, "NEW UNCERTAINTY: Judge Recuses Himself In Ballot Envelopes Lawsuit Tied To Kari Lake Election Contest (READ Minute Entry)": Kari Lake's attorneys are expected to file a motion today to combine her Election Contest with a public records lawsuit to obtain ballot envelopes. The judge in the latter case is now recusing himself, adding some (temporary) uncertainty into the proceedings.

Judge Michael Gordon was assigned to the We the People public records suit on April 28. The Minute Entry recusing himself - without a stated reason - was filed this morning. Civil Presiding Judge Danielle Viola will assign a new judge to the case.

An interesting outcome could be that she taps Judge Peter Thompson to handle the related matter, as consolidation of the two very statutorily-driven cases seems unlikely. (Thompson has been handling the Election Contest.) He would then be better able to manage the interplay between them."

I've used Manuka Honey, But I love honey so much I ended up eating it all...LOL And dang its expensive. Speaking of honey, I was gold mining in Northern Calif. winter, 80's very cold and wet, while stripping down I hit the woodstove trying to get my pants wet off burning me back tender side if you know what I mean, very, very bad, bleeding blisters popped, yeah bad, that same medic I spoke of gave me a bottle of store bought honey, takes the pain right away from burns, A word to the wise, don't put the honey on a wash cloth, your skin absorbers the honey leaving the cloth to stick...

Honey is also anti bacterial, so its pretty damn good for hardcore burns on the soft fleshy behind!

Until Ivermectin, fenbendazole and the like parasite meds the cannabis oil worked the best, for cancer. We gave it to so many people that a Dr in Eureka Calif wanted us to refer everybody we knew to him for an interview, however his intentions were for himself. He wanted to become a paid expert for court trials for big growers. This was during early stages of California 215
