I’m a pretty fit 55yr old guy, we have a ranch that keeps us busy enough. Can’t keep weight on and never could though I eat a lot. I remember watching Survivor and how much they loose in a short time when there isn’t mischief to eat. I’m not in that situation but will have to stretch the supply for the family grasshoppers
You can’t wake everyone up, but don’t lose your love for those around you. It’s hard but isolation is part of their plan so don’t try and go it alone. When it gets really bad they will see the light and know that you were right all along. Patience and no “I told you so” when that happens. Peace my friend, we all need some peace to get through this!
Question for those of us storing for a cold winter that is coming. Do we fatten up a bit before it hits the fan or do we start learning to eat less now? Just something I was thinking about while I was saving eggs last night.

I save real food not the bag of starch with three noodles in it. Three generators one of the diesel and a drum of fuel along with the big fuel tanks on the tractors. Ammo, three months of meds, because that’s what they will give you at one time, have a we’ll do I can pump water. When it gets too bad the horses will be bartered off as food. Not a nice thought but reality. A good group of trusted friends that save differently is good too so you can all concentrate on certain things. Please don’t feed the politicians when it goes down, they created this!
I can’t wait for the first day that I wake up on the other side of this crazy and dark period in our time as a human race. The post yesterday by that Aussie gave me hope that it’s not just us fighting for sanity. That first cup of coffee on day one will taste soooo good! Stay strong friends and prepare for the worst before that day comes, hopefully we’ll start fresh with all our survival gear still unused.
I feel this place is extended family, when it gets tough to deal with, which it does, coming on here I know there are more than enough of us!
