What is this thread all about?

Just a place for general discussion. A place to unload whats on your mind and talk about anything - personal, health, help needed, achievements, daily highs and daily lows, theories, predictions and what have you.

Does not need to be Q related.

these couple of days, im only seeing posts related to the shooting on the thedonald's top post section instead of the trials or any trials

they're obviously false flag ops but proving that it is taking too much space and working too well as such

Yesterday, I was outside walking my dog after a rain storm had just come through. It was still sprinkling and the sun was getting lower in the sky. The grass was so vibrant and green, and I look up and see a beautiful rainbow. A lady a couple hundred feet away was also walking her dog and she must have seen me looking at the rainbow- she yells over “look how pretty it is!” We were just two strangers bonding over the beauty of nature. I thought about how a rainbow is God’s sign of promise of hope. My heart welled up for a minute thinking how God was sending a sign to tell us “hang on bc it’s all going to be ok.” I then thought “Man, I bet the deep state truly hates when they see rainbows.” ….. I started laughing quietly to myself as I went back inside. Just some anon thoughts of the day ❤️

permalink parent save report block reply
▲ 4 ▼
– ACTS1711 4 points 4 years ago +4 / -0

The NIV is just terrible.

In the 1611 KJV in place of the word Jew is Iewe meaning Judean, Judahite or Judah.

Kind of like There, Their or They're.

The word Jew didn't show up until the 18th century in the bibles. It's a real bad translation taking away the focus on the Christ but on a race that doesn't even exist. It's rather a system the same as the Pharisees.

1611 KJV download here.

One thing I love about My President was the way he celebrated and commemorated the true meaning of our holidays. I think back to his Memorial Day proclamations. They pointed to prayer for peace. Appropriately.

2018:

https://trumpwhitehouse.archives.gov/presidential-actions/president-donald-j-trump-proclaims-may-15-2018-peace-officers-memorial-day-may-13-may-19-2018-police-week/

https://trumpwhitehouse.archives.gov/briefings-statements/remarks-president-trump-memorial-day-ceremony/

To every parent who weeps for a child, to every child who mourns for a parent, and to every husband or wife whose heart has been torn in two: Today we ask God to comfort your pain, to ease your sorrow, and to wipe away your tears. This is a very special day. And today, our whole country thanks you, embraces you, and pledges to you: We will never forget our heroes.

2019:

https://trumpwhitehouse.archives.gov/presidential-actions/proclamation-prayer-peace-memorial-day-2019/

It is our responsibility to strive to ensure that their noble acts of dedication to our country and the cause of freedom were not in vain and to comfort the families they have left behind, who bear the heartbreak of their loss. We must ensure that the light of our Republic, and all for which these most honorable Americans willingly died, continues to shine forth brightly into the world. As President Lincoln said in 1863 during the dedication of the Gettysburg National Military Cemetery: “It is for us the living, rather, to be dedicated here to the unfinished work which they who fought here have thus far so nobly advanced.”

2020:

https://trumpwhitehouse.archives.gov/presidential-actions/proclamation-prayer-peace-memorial-day-2020/

As Americans, we will always defend our freedom and our liberty. When those principles are threatened, we will respond with uncompromising force and unparalleled vigor. Generation after generation, our country’s finest have defended our Republic with honor and distinction.

My President is special. I remember his service today too, and look forward to that day of peace we strive for.

I watched a YouTube video last night. It was two lads..looked like early 20s thin..just shorts barefeet brown skin. They walked into a forest..marked out a. Area and in 90 days using only a machete each built a stone house dug out a well surrounded the area steps etc..a fishpond..put fish in from the river with woven baskets they made..and a swimming pool. It looked gorgeous.

No money involved..no one came to check ..no licenses..no regulations..no deeds..everything was done with natural resources from the forest..nothing brought in... ..stones from nearby river...bamboo structure filled in with mud and straw as houses in UK were built with..and then more mud with stones put in.

What happened. Why have we let governments bleed us dry and pimp off us ..some states you can't even grow your own food or collect rainwater.

Who would survive ..us or people who know what plants and fish you can etc and how to stay warm and dry.

A young girl did the same thing a video I saw...I am ashamed how low my survival skills are.

We need to save all these government and federal employees ruling our lives.

We need survival skills taught in schools

Find something good in the world today !

I have found that during these difficult times, to not fall for every MSM post, and not fall for every fear porn, and rage porn post on this forum. Yes it’s important to bring awareness to many things, but I feel like sometimes it’s devolving into TDW here.

The reason I came to this community is because people were kinder, had more compassion, and were more intelligent regarding spiritual issues, and figuring things out instead of just being angry all the time. Please let’s try to help one another to not be angry all the time. I spent so many years angry, better, and full of resentment. I’m happy to say with my relationship with God, that even despite all the difficulties going on I have this joy. Some type of joy and peace that surpasses all understanding.

I am grateful. I’m grateful for the home I live in, I’m grateful for my family, and I am grateful for my relationship with the Lord. I want to wish everybody a wonderful day today.

Go out into the world and find something good, and focus on that. When you find it, come back and let me know about it. I would be interested in hearing people‘s short stories about the goodness they found in the world today.

Good God there are a lot of shills on here the last few weeks. And I can't technically say they are true shills, but being outright dismissive and insulting is getting a little out of hand. Be careful to keep your mind open and your emotions to yourself. Also be mindful of interpretation of context, people have difficulty sometimes being clear or getting their message across fluently. Your ideas don't always neatly fit into a paragraph. But there is a clear indication when you are bringing reddit emotions here and that's the hill you stand on. It's words on a screen, nothing more, nothing less. Just a personal PSA.

Shill attacks have intensified ever since Durham started. But more importantly we are getting inflow of people from all walks of life, even those who recently got redpilled. A lot of these people still think in the old ways while being partially aware. We have to be very patient with them, and where possible show them the way.

When someone is personally attacking or being dismissive, dont take it personally. It means they are getting frazzled and their world view is shattering. I just like to ignore it completely and keep plodding with the actual debate.

A lot of these people waking up slowly have very strong emotions they have never felt and its okay (even healthy) for them to express it, as long as they are mindful of the sidebar rules and dont resort to extreme personal attacks.

Thanks for your comment. I was thinking more on the lines of no registration and no laws to prevent it being carried anywhere. The pepper bullets would get me time to either get away or knock someone out with some other kind of weapon. Not sure I sure I could take a life even if mine was at stake. Then, there is the cost of a gun, bullets I've read are difficult to get and taking lessons and range time would be expensive. Guess I need to do more research and thinking. Thanks.

Please understand if you point that thing at someone with a real gun you should have your funeral arrangements paid for. No disrespect here but firearms skills are worth paying for but not if when the time comes you leave your opponent in tears. As for the range ammo and registration it takes some practice to be capable with anything. Primitive weapons and replica BP arms don't need registration nor do ghost guns. Keep up you interest Fren. We can only hope this stays a hobby and not a necessity.

The thing about weapons is that they aren't for everyone. Not everyone has the survival mindset ingrained within them. I like to think that everyone has a strong survival instinct, but unfortunately it isn't true. This is the reason for the military and the police. They can go bad sometimes, but the purpose is for protecting those that cannot protect themselves. A firearm is a tool, same as a knife, ax, or even a circular saw. If you are afraid to use them, the results can be more harmful than useful. If you understand the purpose and practice in the use of, you still have to prepare yourself mentally so that you have no overwhelming fear. Start with a 22 long rifle caliber rifle. After practicing with that and becoming confident in training and understanding, you should move to a pistol chambered in the same caliber. If you grow confident in your safe handling and use of the pistol, you can try a centerfire pistol. If you feel that it is not to your liking, you can stop moving up in power. A 22lr rifle is a fantastic subsistence weapon. Small game is readily dispatched in a humane manner and can be necessary for survival. It can also serve as a defensive weapon, if needed. Do not underestimate the lethality of a 22lr, it is just as dangerous as a higher power cartridge, although it has less stopping power. In the right hands, it can be extremely potent and deadly.

After 2.5 years my daughter is back for a visit. Had to sit through a long harangue about how I was in a cult, was totally ignorant about the science of vaccines etc etc. Q was led by 2 guys who have duped thousands and made huge profits. As for global warming: Bezos and Zuck can afford to build luxury seafront homes and write them off when the sea levels rise.

By God's grace I survived and stayed in peace. If Saul of Tarsus could be turned around, I have no doubt she can as well. God is good: I know whom I have believed, and know He is able to do abundantly more than I can think, hope or imagine.

Went to my final graduation ceremony as an educator (I'm retiring).

Student of the Year is now the person with the largest social justice arsenal. Had to listen to this SOY harangue all guests about gun control, Roe v Wade, climate change "believe the science", disproportionate violent treatment of African Americans by police, "we have to get loud, angry and active", yada yada. Half my staff fist pumping the air and loud "YEAH's". It made me both sad for the ignorance and loss of innocence of this youthful age group, and disgusted with my colleagues for sticking their heads in the sand still.

Anyway, wish me happy retirement! I used to think I could make a difference in that environment. Now, running for the school board as a retiree just may do that!

I believe the half of the staff that were so vigorously agreeing were merely seeing their own reflected teachings. It is unfortunate, but many teachers are busy teaching social justice and discussing their opinions on what the world should be, rather than the subjects they are entrusted to teach. While I don't mind teachers expressing their personal opinions, that is healthy and natural, it is best to entertain all sides of a topic. I believe the problem is the one-sided discussions where dissent is oppressed that is the actual problem. Do you remember debate exercises where you develop an argument and defended it and then switched sides and argued for your debate partners point of view? I think this opens the mind to the pros and cons of each view and expands the reasoning and understanding of the students. Perhaps it is time to bring this back?

The youth of today has been empowered with convictions without Knowledge or Wisdom, this is a dangerous situation for all of us. Alcohol stove with alcohol fuel. Alcohol has an indefinite shelf life and the stuff formulated for stoves burns very cleanly - fewer fumes indoors and easy cleanup. Combine your alcohol stove setup with a thermal cooker and a little bit of fuel goes a very long way. Get a Berkey water purifier to treat virtually any captured water and if you live in a water insecure region keep a few dozen gallons of potable water at the ready.

I've got one of those portable Coleman bottle propane camping stoves.

Sold out here, but the model

And 4 bottles of propane, from what I understand, should last quite awhile cooking rice (low flame).

Not super duper prepped, but we also have a fire pit and wood, so I'm not totally sweating it.

I'm not a prep expert, but I researched this to my satisfaction and was comfortable with my decision. Price was a factor for me, if it's not for you you could spend more for something better. This is adequate. I'd also get more cannisters if you're unable to do an outdoor fire.

No problem. Looks like there are some other suggestions in this thread as good if not superior to what I recommended. Pinging you to remind you to double-check. u/ivermectinpepe had one that's making me second guess my choice (a bit). And I want to say I spent ~$10 a bottle of propane. It was quite awhile ago. I forget.

Perhaps his stove takes smaller bottles... Not sure.

Was kind of bummed that the water filter recommended here was around $400. 👀 Again though, we have a fire pit and typical Brita filters so I'm not sweating it too much. However you may want to research more simplistic, camping oriented filter systems. They're relatively cheap I think, but when I checked at Bass Pro it was difficult to determine the quality and TBH, I forgot I even looked until this thread. 😂

God Bless

The Berkey water filters are terribly expensive, but very good. Sawyer makes some less expensive ones, they last for an incredibly long time, but they only filter particulates and do not neutralize chemicals. A charcoal filter is typically used to neutralize most chemical impurities. You can actually make your own charcoal filters using, you guessed it...wood charcoal from a wood fire. There are resources online that detail how to make water filters using sand and wood charcoal. These are very effective and useful. A lot of the commercial water filters use coconut hair for their charcoal, but that is not needed for a diy water filter made from a 5 gallon poly bucket from home depot or lowes. Make sure to use the white food grade bucket to eliminate any leaching of polymer chemicals. If you need me to link some articles, I can, but there are a multitude on this topic on the internet.
