There are only very limited reasons why you can travel out of Australia at the moment and 2 out of 3 applications are rejected. Although our pollies will tell you it is just that we are an island sanctuary and they are keeping us safe.....
We are fighting, unfortunately the majority of people are so far in debt that they can't afford to not keep working, toeing the line and doing what they are told to. It is a sad state of affairs, but it is the same in most western countries. Debt slavery is real and the rest of the govt trough feeders will keep eating from the trough and doing what they are told.

Aussie Army veteran here. There are plenty of guns in Australia. The leftist talking point that all the guns were taken away is just bs. If you want a rifle, shotgun or pistol you can get one. There is a process to get one, but you also have a process, from what I understand in the US you can't just walk in off the street and waltz out packing iron. We don't have semi-auto weapons though, so you that on us for sure.

Did year 12 back in the 80s there in California. My host father was a Republican and the Chief of Police in the town I was hosted in. So, yes, I understand the culture. I have been to the US many times since, for work and for pleasure, and also lived in a number of other countries around the world.
