I don't think so. That's how they calculate the federal tax. If you do not claim the proper amount they put extra tax on for "allocated" tips. I've seen it happen but not in a long time. Most restaurants have pos systems that calculate estimated cash tips. You can under claim at mom and pop places but won't get away with that at the corporate places.
Servers are also taxed on the assumption that they collected %10 tips on their sales. So if you leave no tip at all they still pay income taxes on %10 of your sale. Many do not realize that.
Asking for advice, I got screwed by Elon and America pac. I got a bunch of petitions signed and even received confirmation that money was on the way. Never got paid. My husband did a few and he got paid in November. I have made several inquiries through the website but still nothing. I just want that money, times are hard and that $500 sure would help. See something, say something. So, I voted early. First time in over 20 years using a different polling station. The early voting station is for 8 different districts. Once you get your ballot they hand you a number, this number tells you which machine to feed your ballot into. They explained that each machine is for a different district. They also explained that the day before (I went on the second day) they had not handed out numbers, they simply told people which machine to go to. But now they hand out numbers because so many went to the wrong machine and their votes won't count because they were in the wrong districts machine. How many votes did we lose on day 1?? How do I know they are direction me to the right one?? I just don't like it.
Crowder did a story on this in 2020. Michigan had several examples of vacant properties and parking lots that were used as voters addresses. Most addresses had multiple registered voters. Just one way Michigan cheats. They also cast votes for anyone in adult foster care or nursing homes.

Michigan too. So many door dash and grocery delivery people that do not speak English. You can't tell me that they are all citizens with valid drivers licenses. I work at a restaurant and I see at least 2 door dash drivers a day that are non english speaking. And not the same two, different people every day. It's annoying, they can't even pronounce the name of the order. They just shove their phone in your face and say delivery.
