Parents are generally doing this as a personal virtue signal to pat themselves on the back because trans has become the new politically correct envogue fad, and/or they are too stupid to know that they are permanently damaging their children for life over something they will pass through if just left alone. No. The Taiwanese do not want to be ruled by the CCP. If they did, they would just have joined China long ago. In my experiences, I have found the Taiwanese to be the most American-like of all the Asian people. They like their freedom.

This is only common sense. The president takes on the responsibility for how the country runs. He should have the right to hire/fire anybody he wants at any level. Any CEO would be able to. So the elected president should be able to get supporters of his programs, which the people elected him for, into the agencies.
