Before reunification, NATO’s primary gig was countering the Soviet Union and the Warsaw Pact. West Germany was a frontline state—split from East Germany, a Soviet satellite. The Berlin Wall’s fall in ’89 and Germany’s reunification a year later marked the Cold War’s wind-down. The Soviet Union collapsed in ’91, and suddenly NATO’s big bad wolf wasn’t huffing and puffing anymore. Some folks—like academics John Mearsheimer and Kenneth Waltz—argued this shift killed NATO’s raison d’être. They figured a unified Germany, free of superpower rivalry in Europe, meant the alliance could pack up shop. Why keep a military pact when the enemy’s gone? Says Grok.

I also apologize for assuming Grok a YX identity in the title block, although to my thinking Grok doesn't really sound very feminine.

The algo is slanted toward a scholarly society view. It needs imput from those who on a regular basis get cuts, contusions and dirty fingernails from trying to fuckin' survive. If you are to be useful to the human experience you need to get dirty/fall down/insect bitten at some point.

It's way past time to nullify ALL of the lefty radical judges. Andrew Bailey AG is another based choice for Missouri politics.

The answer is the Smith-Mundt revision Obama put into the 2013 defense appropriations (NDAA) as the Modernization of Smith-Mundt of 1948. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/National_Defense_Authorization_Act_for_Fiscal_Year_2013#Smith%E2%80%93Mundt_Modernization_Act_of_2012

Thomas is demanding the House GOP drop-the-gloves. This absolutely needed doing. The SC has no business interfering in foreign aid decisions. He's still the smartest kid in class.

Are the amount of unsealed indictments in anyway related to the liberal lefty judges? Are the tribunals the only way these indictments get prosecuted? I'm a legal idiot which is why I ask.

John Ratcliffe is a great choice to reduce and get control of that institutional corruption.

Pointed at them purposely several times and excoriated Liz "Pocahontas" Warren to her face. Winning is so fulfilling.
