This hypothesis proves true for me, about cabal/flu.
Case study: for 24 years in the military was forced to get flu shot. Every time, within 5-10days, i would get violently ill with the flu. Added to this was debilitating allergies that i was taking a handful of pills a day just to function.
Since i retired in 2012, i vowed no more shots. Since then, I've had a 24hr stomach bug once: no colds, no flu, and very mild seasonal allergy (grasses and trees in my area) So yeh, in my self experiment it was the flu shot that gave me the flu and wicked allergies.
