It’s interesting how judgmental people are. My ex left me with the children and I struggled to feed us but Somehow we made it through. He moved in with his parents and wanted for nothing.
The father of my grandchildren moved on to a new relationship. He has not seen or supported his children in nearly 5 years.
I am a blessed woman, however. I get to love these children every day. His loss.
I worry for those who don’t have grandparents to help, the ones who end up in the foster care system.
I am a mother of 2 and grandmother of 3. Both fathers take no part in raising them. At least my ex paid child support of $263 a month forced by the courts. The father of my grandchildren pays nothing. Neither are involved in the lives of their children.
Although l love my daughters and the kids it’s a lot. The loss of Roe vs Wade is not good. We chose to have our children knowing that our lives were forever changed. The men never changed theirs.
No one has the right to tell another what to do with their body and their life.
Both of my children and all three of my grandchildren were planned, conceived and born while we were married to their fathers. One husband each.
The fathers failed their children, not us. And we never will.
In my town we got $10,000 lights across Main Street. They connect our corrupt non profit to their favorite restaurant across the street.
6 sets of lights from Costco at $50 each attached from one building to the other. The power supply is a power strip attached to a home timer, both from Dollar General and attached with at least a few zip ties to an awning.
Against city code. Against state code. Against fire code. Still up. I’m waiting for the awning to catch fire. The whole Main Street will go.
I’ve been putting off my new business since January. Had something for about six months till I took 4 days of Ivermectin and my mojo is back. I asked God for help in getting it going. He responded by breaking my work computer. Two days while I waited for the repair call (and getting paid) I worked on the business samples. I should be able to launch the business on Monday!!!!!!
Woot woot
At a large mall in Pittsburgh a man took his daughter to buy pet food. She wanted to stand outside to watch the turtles in a tank and Dad said yes. When he came out five minutes later she was gone. They immediately locked the mall down and started looking.
A short time later the Dad recognized his daughter’s pink shoes on a quiet little boy who was looking down and her hand was held by a man Dad did not know.
“Excuse me, sir,” he said to the man as he landed the first punch then continued beating him until he was almost dead. The cop, who watched, said, “Sir, you probably don’t want to kill him.”
The man, a national karate champion and owner of a local studio, stopped the beating and said, “Don’t fu*k with my family.”
I’m sure the would be kidnapper never hurt another child. Word is that every bone in his body was broken in that beating, and rightfully so.
My daughter is a teacher and is terrified. We were talking about shelter in place. She said if there is word of a shooter in her school she is telling the students to bust out the windows and run. Keep running till you reach safety. I agree.
When things got bad for me I colored. Sharpie makes excellent colors. I did hundreds of mandalas. It helps calm you down because your focus is changed.
It’s helping my daughter now. I pray it helps you as well.
