I disagree with ease of validity.

Normie acceptance would be too difficult in my opinion, and it's part of why I haven't invested in any gold or silver so far. If SHTF that badly I think we'll have much bigger problems to worry about than what currency is acceptable for purchasing goods and services.

A magnet will let me know if someone went to great lengths to make silver-plated shot.

Why coins? Why not silver shot to make it easier for bartering? It's generally closer to spot price, too. If you're trying to pay for something with silver, it's easier to toss shot onto the scale instead of scratching flakes from a coin. I am surprised that nobody talks about this when they promote buying silver/gold.

Honestly... 5.4 isn't that bad. I've slept through worse lol. Wouldn't mind giving my orange, almond and walnut trees a good shake.

$RECAF has a lot of potential to explode in growth once the company finds a reservoir with commercial quantities of oil/gas. I have been accumulating for the past 1.5 years hoping they will be bought out or JV'd by an oil supermajor. Stock market fear porn won't stop me even if it does hit zero.

Gold/silver never really interested me. If I did invest in either one I would go for grain & shot. No coins or bars.

According to this article with 2018 data, Texas isn't very far behind California when it comes to Colorado migration. Florida, New Mexico and Virginia are three other states in the top 5.

I used to work for Tesla on the energy generation side of their business. (The cars are part of the consumption side while the batteries are storage.) I'm not sure how "hardcore" Elon wanted Tweeters working, but I'd wager a hefty bet that it isn't nearly as close to working on a glass roof of a two story house in the elements. I've seen many new hires go through a week of training on mock roofs just to leave their equipment at the warehouse on their first day of work. The weak-willed end up weeding themselves out one way or another.

The gamer in me hopes Trump will announce he correctly picked Outsiders to win the CS:GO Major in Brazil this past weekend. Or that he's reserved his copy of Half-Life 3.

9/11 started when I was in 1st period science class, but I didn't know until 2nd period when the teacher had the TV turned on. Her 1st period students were still in their seats when we walked in so we knew something crazy was happening. To see two giant smoking towers on the screen was mind boggling for us 13 year old kids.

My geography teacher said something later that day: "You're going to remember this day for the rest of your lives. You will remember where you were and what you were doing." Can't believe that was over 21 years ago, heh..

Caveman is one of my hidden gem movies. It's got Ringo Starr and Dennis Quaid.

Are you the person who did the /bored emote tunes? I still whistle those from time to time even though I haven't played in a decade.

Agreed. If it was an election where only legal citizens had a say, I believe it would paint a much different picture across the entire country.

Haha, that is a fair judgement for Pelosi. Alcatraz is a fitting place, too, however that is within the California border and far too close to home. :)

Thank you for your condolences. I am sorry for your loss as well... The void our loved ones leave behind can feel overwhelming at times. I find it's best to fill it with positive vibes to keep their memory alive.

Same. No matter how many posts I read shitting on California(ns), I'll never abandon my home state. Gotta send Nancy Pelosi back to the east coast where she belongs.

Not that anyone cares, but I drove ~2700 miles around California with my best friend from Minnesota this past spring, who unfortunately passed away six weeks ago. From Sacramento to Lake Tahoe, through the Lassen volcanic area to Mt. Shasta and Weed, then all the way out to Sea Ranch, Solvang, Santa Barbara and finally LA. Over the course of 2.5 weeks we got to see seemingly endless farmlands, mountains, lakes and streams, dormant volcanoes, vineyards, ranches and even some tent cities. It was a life changing experience for the two of us and I'm a native Californian. A solid road trip he and I got to add to our 20+ years of friendship. It sucks to see so many people hoping this place falls off into the ocean, 'cause it has a lot more to offer than folks realize.

Thank you for reading :)
