Not too long ago, I would have scoffed at the idea. Now, I honestly don't know what to believe about a lot of things and I am suspicious of almost everything.

Congrats!

I work at a University in the Northeast US which is extremely leftwing

Aha, using my powers of deduction, I can see that this quote narrows your place of work down to.... Hmmm.. Never mind.

I'm no expert but I believe the government or whatever powers that be will buy the debt and then offer to forgive the debt. So it's not an instant reset. It's a transfer of ownership and ***then ***a reset once you're firmly placed under their thumb.

I don’t remember any nasal soreness. I had a very brief low grade fever, some pretty strong muscle aches, and a general crappy feeling with some very mild congestion. It really wasn’t all that bad for me. But again, the sense of smell didn’t start until I was already feeling much better. Conversely, my wife lost her sense of smell immediately and recovered it within a week. I have heard of people having nasal soreness related to the virus but I didn’t have it.

I've had sinus issues since I was a kid and most colds hit my nose pretty hard. But this kung flu was the first time I completely lost my sense of smell. It was weird. I had completely clear nasal passages but I couldn't smell anything at all and it happened after I mostly recovered. That was back in November and it's partially back now but not 100%. Thanks China.

Why all the talk of rallying now? Is it because they know something is coming?

I give you points for sticking to your convictions and I give you more points for using the quality phrase "and for a moment I considered flattening him."

Yeah that movie had a scene or two that made me laugh but I never liked the vibe of devil stuff with my heavy metal, even if it was tongue in cheek. As They Might Be Giants said, "Can't shake the devil's hand and say you're only kidding."

I'm always disappointed to see the Foo Fighters involved in any of this crap. From what I understand, they did something for Planned Parenthood along the way too. I always got the impression that they were just an old fashioned down to Earth rock band. But I guess Dave Grohl's head is actually pretty empty.

It's a little on the long side but I thought Dr. Cole has a really good take on things and made a lot of the technical stuff behind the vaccines seem more understandable. He also gave some more solid reasons why anyone would want to hesitate to take the vaccine with some real world examples of past vaccines that have had issues: enter text

If I'm being honest, I'm not expecting Dave to be true or even very informative. He's entertaining though and sometimes that's enough.

Definitely agree. And I listen for the entertainment value, which is what I think he really intends with this show. I don't listen for any sort of "real news" factor. Maybe some of what he says has some merit but a lot of it is repetition and some fun conjecture.

Not going to debate theology but Christ himself said "upon this rock I will build my church." As for the pedo priests (actually homopredator priests) It's not about the people who run it. Heck, Peter denied Him 3 times and was the first pope. Judas was one of the original 12, picked by Christ, and he wasn't such a good guy.

Well said. I said what I said in the heat of some bad emotions. I still visit daily and while I'm not necessarily expecting anything to happen, I wouldn't be surprised either. Whether something big happens or not, we are undeniably living in strange times.

Absolutely spot on! I think there’s a large element of insecurity in their motivations as well.

Trolling use to really bug me because it’s not in me to intentionally make other people mad (not that I’m a saint, it’s just that trolling is not one of my countless flaws.) But I have to agree these days. I actually kind of enjoy the “combat” at times.

Yeah it's hard to disagree with this. We played their rigged game by their rigged rules and even though we won, we still lost. I don't see how playing within their system is going to work.

where else are you going to go? What other choices are out there?

Just to play a little devil's advocate, why come here? What value does it add at this point? Commiseration? I've loved this place since I discovered it but I'm not sure of the point now. And as cynical as I am feeling at the moment, I feel like I'd be dragging the place down with any comments I make.

I am fully aware of, and agree with everything you said. And I'm not complaining to God here. If this is His plan then it is His plan. So be it. But again, either we're supposed to fight for this world or we're not. If we are, then this is a loss. I've honestly enjoyed my time on greatawakening and thedonald. I saw them as integral to fighting the good fight on the worldly front. But this loss makes it seem like maybe the worldly front is long past being a lost cause. When the other side writes the rules, hires the commentators, buys off all of the refs, pays off most of you're team so you're basically playing alone, and then claims victory even when you somehow still scored more, I'm not sure it's really worth playing that particular game anymore. I'm not giving up the fight. I'm just not sure it's worth fighting the particular fight that brought me to these sites to begin with.

As much as it pains me to type it out, you are spot on. I'm beefing it out with my family now with this attitude. They're all saying that the fight goes on and our war is not for this world but the next. But I don't need Q posts to get to Heaven. I never needed Trump to get to Heaven. We've got Christ for that. But either we're meant to fight for what's right in this world or we're not. And if we're meant to fight, I don't see how this is anything other than an absolutely demoralizing loss. Nothing would make me happier than to be proven wrong about all of this but for now, I just don't see the point in the fight. We can win in ever way that our moral code allows and they will just declare victory.

I really like the UI of Firefox and generally feel like it's the best of the mainstream browsers. I've been using Brave the last few days and it's fine though slightly clunkier than what I'm used to. I'm also giving Waterfox a try and of course I like the layout since I'm so used to it. But the lack of an iOS option is disappointing. I really liked Firefox's option to send a tab from mobile to desktop and vice versa. Is there a way I can still do that using Waterfox on the PC and some other browser on iOS?

It's not in all of the Gospels. In some (most I believe) of the books, it ends after "lead us not into temptation..." It's generally accepted that you can say it but it's not blasphemy to not include it. I know for Catholics, it's not considered part of the prayer itself but it is included in the wording of the mass.
