"You do understand that at least?" Yeah, sorry about that. I was being an ass, and it was unnecessary. I should have simply said, "Can we agree on that point?" I interpret the story as literal, and that's okay. You interpret it as a possible vision being described. That is also okay. The details of this and most other things argued over are unimportant. The gospel is simple or else simpletons like me would be in trouble eh? I thank God for that.

The Hunter Biden laptop wasn't even brought into the repair shop until April 2019 - two years after the post. Could it be that white hats had an "insert scandal here" in the plan? Did white hats plant the laptop? How does this work?

Get ahold of yourself, son. I'll clear half of it up right now. You're not Jesus.

The story of the men watching Jesus physically ascend is not half literal and half allegory. Either the whole thing is allegory or it was all a real event. You do understand that at least?

Check out the guy standing next to the cockpit and compare to Boeing 757 dimensions

That picture seems to be from the plane crash that killed Lewis Katz

The images of that day have been recreated with all the wreckage that you may expect from a crash - but at least you and I remember there was no wreckage - just an empty plane shaped black hole. The picture linked above is that exact picture I am talking about. I first saw it on a Mr Ballen episode on youtube.

So with the whole context included, it paints the picture that Jesus did just literally go up and past a literal cloud that hid Jesus from their literal sight, and as He was going "up into heaven", two men dressed in white stood beside them and said what they said. It was an actual event. Jesus entered heaven physically by going up in a way that they could see Him going. It says it right there.

6 Then they gathered around him and asked him, β€œLord, are you at this time going to restore the kingdom to Israel?”

7 He said to them: β€œIt is not for you to know the times or dates the Father has set by his own authority. 8 But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”

After he said this, he was taken up before their very eyes, and a cloud hid him from their sight.

10 They were looking intently up into the sky as he was going, when suddenly two men dressed in white stood beside them. 11 β€œMen of Galilee,” they said, β€œwhy do you stand here looking into the sky? This same Jesus, who has been taken from you into heaven, will come back in the same way you have seen him go into heaven.”

In all fairness, he did drive a Corolla by choice.

What if you could design a bioweapon capable of primarily affecting the age group that you may be fighting in the future? It may be useful to soften up an adversary years prior to a planned engagement. That'd be sick.

This is what I believe - Everything in the universe was created for God's pleasure. He is creating beings to love and to love Him. He doesn't want to create automatons because that won't satisfy Him. Here, He has created a system where a being can actually choose Him outside of a nature that is opposed to Him. But this is just my own thoughts on it.

Jesus is the only way to be saved because He was the perfect scapegoat for sin. No other religion offers a human a way to be sanctified before a perfect God. They simply tell you that it isn't important or it's okay to be "good enough." But it's not. We must be unblemished before God because He is perfect and He cannot abide sin. It's a gift to us to be offered Christ's sacrifice as a path to God because the alterative is that we must be and always have been perfect. This is impossible in a corrupted world.

So If your grandma has a cookie recipe and my grandma has a cake recipe and 50 years later someone puts them in a binder, It doesn't mean the recipes aren't real and that you can't make sweet bakeries out of them.

Take a leap of faith, friend. Christ, who died and rose was witnessed by many. The men who had abandoned their teacher at the cross suddenly became willing to die for the truth of His resurrection just days later. I suppose not much less than witnessing Christ resurrected could give the disciples the courage to preach the Gospel and be persecuted even unto death for it.

I don't care what anyone says. No one will ever make me believe Robbie Parker is a dad to a dead 6 year old - and it never had a thing to do with Alex Jones. I saw him say "do you want me to read it off the card." I saw him smirk and prepare himself for his big debut on stage. I saw the dozens of horribly photoshopped pictures manufacturing the family that was Robbie Parker's. I saw all of the families smiling and enjoying themselves in the presence of Obama the day after their kids had their faces blown in and splattered on a wall.
