I've been fortunate and I'm grateful for all that I've owned, and my parents before me, and theirs before them. Entire lives and so much love shared and had and made under all of that which we made use of while we lived. And still do. I realize how much of a miracle is playing out before me everyday. My son is a decade into the dream now too. It's fucking sick.
For me, I find that level of caring about what some tiny level of the internet population is passing time with, to be a chore. I mean, on this rock that's ripping through infinite space with every manner of miracle spread out before me, every day, and with love to find? Sheeeit, miss me with trying to control people. It's enough to look after myself and my loved ones and neighbors. I turn a shit version of myself when I get into imagining other people's ways of spending their time here. But I recognize my experience is not everyones and that is possible and perhaps probable that I'm fully captured by my own perspective. I value my sanity and feel I have but a tenuous grip already. Lol.
So if people like the price and find it convenient its ok. But if you have a coffee while doing it, you aren't conservative.

You misunderstood. The question wasn't about if someone should do the right thing. It was a question of WHAT that right thing is. Specifically. The "cowardly" part is referring to how the WHAT, gets left out.
So it's easy to see why more substance is asked for. Anyone can "stand up" and say, "I want good things and not bad things!" Who could argue with them? Nobody. That's the easy part that is not heroic. The hard part that requires bravery, is putting your plan up for critique.

I've often thought this board could use a stickied thread where it's a no snowflake, no echo chamber zone where people don't have to prove membership by saying the chants, but aren't called a doomer for stress testing theories and arguments.
