And I rode that high all the way home and made my first post. Lol
First public speech and handshake status gone all in the same day. I'm still so excited I'm about to cave and find some NyQuil or something to force me to sleep! 🤣🤣. All the excitement and support makes it easier to step outside of my box. I love it!
Try giving them a list of schools already standing up to the tyranny. That list is growing like crazy! Derek Pearcy from Shelbyville has some great FOIA requests that show they have nothing to fear. He's on Facebook and savederek.com.
I'm both but trying to change that. My anxiety is definitely the worse of the 2. But I can't expect others to step up if I'm not willing.
Tonight was a huge step for me in so many ways. 🙂
The area around 57/70 is heavily going masks optional. Effingham is an exception, unfortunately. Contact your board members and have a dialogue with them. Most of ours are just afraid of state retribution.
Look up Dillon's Rule and go from there. They also need to know that they have Tort immunity on their side against the mandate. Here's a link of schools that are going optional. It's a work in progress since meetings are happening everywhere, but it's definitely some inspiration! Even Rockford seems to be on the list!

That's just it, though. We each might just be one, but we are the majority. And it gets more and more obvious every day!
We had a huge crowd tonight and it was amazing! School board meetings everywhere here are consistently getting higher numbers than ever before!
They should absolutely be terrified. I don't want to share my popcorn with them and I'm sure some others feel the same. They're going to have to get their own.
I'll at least be nice enough to recommend cooking it in bacon grease though. Definitely the best way!
Almost like she expects something to happen soon...
Yes, we ARE the majority! I literally cried tears of joy the morning of Jan 6 seeing so many patriots coming out in support of President Trump. The ensuing staged kerfuffle was terrible in so many ways, but we all know that was a setup and not patriots.
Remember we are the masses even if we're not the loudest. They know and are terrified, which is why they keep messing up.
I love that 45 takes time to honor our true heroes. Most people don't even realize days like this exist because Google doesn't do a silly doodle for it.
People Heart recipients are true heroes as is President Trump.
To be fair, I don't want their sons in our military, either. They belong in adult day camps so they don't hurt themselves.
I grew up questioning everything but I keep seeing things that make me wonder how awake I've really been. Even in high school, my class discussed the assassination of JFK and our general consensus pointed at the CIA. (I graduated in '98 so these discussions were probably around 1995). We all knew about a government connection to Pearl Harbor. There was a lot we were missing but those were events everyone knew about around me.
Knowing the corruption is out there and seeing it proven more and more every single day just keeps continuing to wake me up. I almost feel as if I've been sleep walking rather than truly awake.
Yep. I couldn't believe Pritzger's "Fair" Tax got voted down.
Still Trump 2020 flags everywhere right next to the Pritzger sucks signs. ?
Number 13 is the best one. ?
Our futures are why all of the rest of the wins matter. Bless you all!
The ballots wouldn't have returned to the printer. It would've gone to the return address printed on it.
Source: I'm over shipping and receiving at a printer. We send out enough mail that we have a postal worker on site 5 days a week. We never get the returned mail back physically.
"Biden is falling down on the job..."
I almost choked. ??
The short 2nd term is how Trump will end up with a 3rd term. Lord knows he'd have my vote again.
Those are F-16's in the video.
Illinois is red. Fraud from Chicago is the only reason this state was blue in the first place. We have 3 purple cities - Chicago, Peoria and Champaign. Everything else is straight red.
I would have believed we were blue pre covid but absolutely everyone sees what governor fat head and the Dems did to our economy. Nobody likes Biden.
They've been playing several old commercials as well. Hearing old bits mocking Obama certainly helps the grieving process!
Exactly! Kids only know what they're taught. I recall a similar conversation last year prior to the election. My then 5 year old was explaining to me that women didn't used to be allowed to vote. I said he was correct and that only white men could vote. All women and black men weren't allowed to.
"What do you mean by a black man?”
I definitely choose my words carefully for my response.
I prefer the more honeyed approach with store reviews. I always point out any positives of my visit along with noting that the box of masks being offered at the door clearly state they do not protect from viruses. I tell them point blank we won't return until the mask requirement is removed. Then we follow through with it.
The hazardous devices intrigue me. I saw 4 pickup trucks pulling box trailers traveling through central Illinois over the weekend. Trailers proclaimed Army hazmat recon.
I frequently question this as well. My marker? The vaccine. As long as those serving in the military have a choice in whether or not to take the jab, we're still in this. If they have no choice... Well, if that happens I'll feel like we lost. I'm not willing to judge by whoever is in control of social media.
In the meantime, I'll keep spreading kindness, avoiding masks and teaching my 6 year old how to stand tall and be a proud patriot.
Inkscape is another good one. Plenty of tutorials online. Keep up the great work!
I printed out my speech. We had some that just spoke but most had something to read even if it was on their phone. I have my speech below if it helps. I recommend keeping the emotion to a minimum but keeping passion in it. This matters to all of us and they need to know it. Don't be afraid to let them know that we are watching who votes for what and will remember that at the next election.
I am here to implore our schools to give our families and children the freedom of choice in regards to masks. The packaging from even N95 masks proclaim that they do not stop the spread of viruses. The CDC claims that they are beneficial in children, yet no study has ever been conducted with live children. That was confirmed recently with Dr. Robert Redfield, a former head of the CDC. I, personally, would be terrified to know what was on my child’s mask at the end of every school day last year. As a mom of a typical 6 year old boy, it came home wet and stained. Every. Day. Normally, there were more than 1. No amount of berating, bribing, begging or any other form of coercion yielded better results. Because he’s a child.
I, like most, was ecstatic when the announcement came from the school that masks were going to be optional aside from the buses. Now, here we are. Our tyrannical governor has once again proclaimed an unconstitutional mandate. Rumors have flown around social media and in gossip circles everywhere about how he can pull funding if we don’t comply. There’s a few problems with those rumors. Our state Legislature makes the laws, not the governor. Per Dillon’s Rule, our state’s governor only has the power granted to him by our state legislature. Never has J.B. Pritzger been given the power to mandate masks. Furthermore, school code 105 ILCS does not grant that power to the Illinois State Board of Education, either.
I am asking the board to stand for the freedom of choice for our children. We are responsible for teaching our children to make the right choice and not the easy one. Please be brave and set the example that our future deserves.
Thank you for your time.
