I find that more information moves faster on Telegram rather than on GAW or Truth Social. In all honesty, I really don't use Truth Social that much. I think Telegram is faster and more efficient than Truth, Gab, Parler, Locals, etc. I think it also has far more people.

I don't see Telegram as a competitor to GAW or Truth. I see them sharing an audience in sort of a Venn diagram way. Many times I see memes first on Telegram and then later posted to Facebook and GAW.

And with Telegram, you only need follow the individuals/groups that interest you. I basically keep an eye on 5-7 channels and ignore the rest.

I have also discovered that a lot of my friends already have it so using it is no big deal to me. It's my most used app with GAW a distant 3rd.

I haven't had issues with Telegram except for pasting links into Facebook Messenger. Messenger won't let me paste links from GAW.

Also I'm not sharing Telegram links per se, I'm sharing pictures, text and video that I cut and paste.

But again, I use it to read and hold stuff. It's not for everybody. If you have something that works for you stick with that.

That's the ideal scenario, but you can use Telegram just to read and gather information, memes, jokes, etc. I use it as a repository to store things I think are important. I'll paste stuff there from GAW or Twitter for easy access later. I also use it to talk to some clients and real life friends who prefer to communicate that way rather than messaging in Twitter.

If you choose to use Telegram, get it from the official telegram.us site, not google.
