The land promises were fulfilled:
**Joshua 21:43-45 **(KJV) - And the LORD gave unto Israel all the land which he sware to give unto their fathers; and they possessed it, and dwelt therein. 44 And the LORD gave them rest round about, according to all that he sware unto their fathers: and there stood not a man of all their enemies before them; the LORD delivered all their enemies into their hand. 45 There failed not ought of any good thing which the LORD had spoken unto the house of Israel; all came to pass.
1 Kings 4:21 (KJV) - And Solomon reigned over all kingdoms from the river unto the land of the Philistines, and unto the border of Egypt: they brought presents, and served Solomon all the days of his life.
Later in the Old Testament texts (Deu 28-30) shows that continued possession of the land depended on Israel’s obedience! When they rebelled, God allowed them to be conquered & exiled. But does a later exile undo God’s faithfulness? I say NO!
Truth! That's the general flow of the $$! I was shocked to find out how much my Federal reps have accepted. So if a group or someone gives you over $1million for your political campaign it just might motivate you to take their phone calls (sarcasm)! Its the "Golden Rule" - he who owns the gold makes the rules!
Thanks for your efforts. I view the scriptures in Zechariah chapters 13 and 14 as being being fulfilled in the past, particularly in events surrounding the first century, such as the Roman destruction of Jerusalem and the Temple in AD 70. The "Day of the Lord" always refers to judgement. In this case it was judgement of apostate Israel. We can see "All nations against Jerusalem" at that time. Though the Roman army was Roman, it was composed of soldiers from many "nations" - Syrians, Arabs, Idumaeans & others - supporting the idea of "all nations". Josephus, the Jewish historian, records that Roman forces included non-Roman auxiliaries, aligning with this interpretation. "City shall be taken...houses rifled...women ravished" - this is interpreted literally as the atrocities that occurred during the Roman siege. Josephus also describes such events in "The Wars of the Jews". Anyway I think you get my point.
Basically you are saying "its written and will come to pass" and I'm saying "yes its written and has already taken place". I am a recovering "dispensationalist".
True - follow the $$!
Well I believe it has more to do with $$.
Go to https://www.trackaipac.com/ and see how much $$ your reps are taking from Israeli interests. My rep is taking over $1 million! One of the senators in my state is taking >$400k and the other >$200k. As they say: follow the $$!!
Also "follow the $$" - AIPAC $$.
