Those of us in the know have been trying to tell you all but we keep getting voted down and/or ignored.

I'm amazed that so many here don't know the history of Pepe and Kekistan. But hopefully I can educate some people.

I'm saddened that so many here don't know the history of Pepe and Kekistan.

Pepe and Kekistan both came out of gamergate, and Kekistan was largely started by Sargon of Akkad, i.e. Carl Benjamin, now the owner of the Podcast of the Lotus Eaters.

Pepe is our mascot and yet people here don't know he came out of gamergate. They don't even seem to know what KEK and Kekistan are any more.

I left my IT job at a large bank about 10 years ago when a new Indian manager was hired to be my boss. He supposedly had a Masters in IT but I had to explain to him what a MAC address was.

Best decision I ever made was to leave IT work behind.

I still speak to some of my good coworkers from that job and they all say I made the right decision to leave but they can't for various reasons. Now I teach music to children privately and my work life is the most rewarding it has ever been.

I know many other very talented IT workers who have left the field for similar reasons. Only those with no other options stay.

You're right, but that is the whole point of this.

All of the media that hate Trump and Musk have been pushing this as a schism in Trump's camp. But then people read about the details (dog walkers on H1B's) and are shocked that those visas are being used that way at the expense of US citizens.

This is waking people up and will allow Trump to fix this with popular support, making it easier to have political support for fixing this.

Also, mods have to keep this board on track, hence the 4d ban for incivility - it breaks rules.

Happily, we were able to resolve that between us and I will be more civil in future, even though I think we should be able to speak our mind without censorship, but this is not my board and I need to respect the rules here.

This has put the whole H1B visa system in the national spotlight. People who previously supported it are now against it. We know that H1B visas have been abused, you think Musk doesn't know that? It's the same across the Western world.

Of course, every nation should want to attract as many smart, productive, and talented people as it can. That is how H1B visas should be used, not to bring in baristas, dog walkers, and low skilled tech workers.

The outcome of this will be a general awakening as to how these visas are currently being abused and will end with a much narrower allowance for H1B's that will bring it back to the proper intended purpose.

All of this current drama is about waking up the masses.

They also routinely said that the vaccines were safe and effective, again, very tongue in cheek if you listened to the rest of what they said.

Barnes said that challenging the elections because of voting machines being hacked or falsely attributing votes was never going to win in court. Barnes also pushed that the way to court victory was to challenge the signature matching that never took place.

Both Viva and Barnes are very clear that they know the election was stolen. Their arguments were about the legal strategy of challenging the election results.

Barnes has even represented Trump a number of times, as well as many other players who are fighting against the deep state. He's a good guy and on the side of right against evil.
