I am Orthodox, Oriental Orthodox, it starts on Monday for us we don't have Ash Wednesday that is a strictly Catholic thing.

Iraq had a huge Orthodox Christian population btw, Saddam often "doted" if that's the right word on the Oriental Orthodox Church in Iraq there were a lot of extremist wanting him to kill them because they are infidels but he kept them at bay. When Saddam was murdered that all changed and the Orthodox had to flee.

Orthodoxy is Christianity. It is what true Christianity is not Catholicism not Protestantism but the faith handed down to us from the Apostles.
