To your point they are obviously trying to overhype everything. I am in the medical field and worked with many covid patients, tests(20-30k tests). Not sure if it's going to work in time for midterms. Strange times we live in. Things will get crazy during elections. Hopefully not too much violence.
Are you talking about Flu or Covid because you're talking about 2 seperate things. Our Flu season is based on Australia's numbers due to them being in winter while we are in summer. Check their numbers and you will be able to predict our Flu levels.
