What area? I'm south of Winston and north of Charlotte. Lately I don't see many people wearing masks when I go out, but at certain places I do, and it is mandated - like specific community colleges. They still enforce this rule. And I'm betting places like this, and some companies are chomping at the bit to enforce the vaxx mandate.
As we already know, most cities draw a lot of liberal freaks.
I have said for a long time that poorly ran cities need to be forcefully reverted back to unincorporated status. Go back to being a township until you can do better. Or break them up into smaller cities or towns.
May not accomplish much, but would likely force out corrupt mayors and other city officials.
