She was appointed by Obama(?). Why was he appointing anyone for something occurring outside of his "presidency"? Also, why hasn't she been dropped already by the Trump administration(?)...

Not necessarily. I have consistent inflammatory responses to guar, so I try to avoid it (and most gums if possible). Breyer's Natural Vanilla Bean is my go-to for branded ice cream (uses Tara gum and no Carrageenan).

I was using organic HWC in my morning coffee until this past week. Discovered it has gellen and guar gums...something I'm trying to omit if possible. Found a decent replacement that froths nicely.

Texas brisket is the best brisket, for sure! I was glad we experienced it when we could still eat "anything we wanted". A week of buffet is outrageous! 😁

I never asked about his team moniker...usually so early in the AM. I think he has since passed; but great memories for us!

I believe this. 20 years ago while making a 4 year career stop in Houston, we had a paper route. The route owner competed nationally in BBQ competitions and rewarded the top route runners with a 24 hour smoked brisket. We won a few times, and it was, bar none, the best incentive I ever had in my life.

So much hypocrisy in these statements from Obama, Biden, and Clinton. Good lord...

Our former Mayor called the unjabbed idiots and those refusing to wear masks, "Maskholes". The dolt then rolled up his sleeve for a free donut...and was diagnosed with Dementia w/n a year.

I'm glad I've been a black sheep sort much/most of my life and don't let the opinions of others dictate my actions.

Correlates to the bankruptcy of 23andMe and the push to delete accounts. [Which matters not, it seems.] So many gullible and willing individuals on that front.

We're in NW Indiana, and I concur--roads are horrendous. In fact, a large sinkhole on a major street in West Lafayette occurred just this week. Old infrastructure combined with irresponsible funding management by the area's Democratic Mayors has me feeling like I'm living a real life City of Ember. Edit: duplicate word.

Is that Jennifer Connelly's AI twin? So far AI equates to very inaccurate weather forecasts and lousy "customer service" [among other deficiencies]. I'm sure it has a place in industry, but seeing 6 foot security camera systems roaming the aisles at the grocery store is unnerving.

I would like to see this ball start rolling on these obstructionist judges. The message needs to be sent and the time-consuming nonsense stopped.

Oh, gotcha. My apologies for misunderstanding; and thank you for that inclusion.

I based my [admittedly, insignificant] comment off the 4/3/2025 post date. The 3rd through the 19th is 17 days [with Easter the following day on Sunday].

My Econ 415 professor in a discussion re: repeat business [way back when]: " Do you think Goodyear or Michelin can't manufacture tires that last a lifetime? But where's the money in that(?)...". 😏

Good to know, and thanks for sharing. I like the absolute clear variety...this never mattered until I installed clear glass shades on with dining lights 15+ years ago. I've gotten so used to 40w, I'd probably go blind with 60w. 😎

Appears as a chastity belt [chain] of sorts for USAID.

I need one of those for Charlie Kirk's Purdue visit next week.
