Maybe I just saw the flag and Punisher and drew the wrong conclusion(?). I haven't had cable since 2006...forgive me. 😄

I told my hubby if we pass and I do an air "Q", I bet I get a thumbs up.

A tad deflating to learn this; but, intuitively based on the driving--I'm guessing it was a like-minded soul. (We were both avoiding the seafoam Chevy "Speck" as my hubby calls them being taken for a very erratic test drive). 🙂

A boy I used to have in an after-school childcare program died last week at age 32 "unexpectedly of natural causes". That is the "code" for these "SADS" jab deaths, I believe. We have a noticeable uptick in local obits w/that phrase (young and old).

My husband recently was required by his company to send a photo of a negative test to his HR (in another state) in order to attend a mandatory meeting. Nevermind the inanity of this detail...he refused to put the swab in his nose. He blew snot (plentiful with allergies in full effect) into a plastic cup and dipped the swab in that. He (we) trust nothing; and we'll keep being of that mindset.

Yup...crossword puzzles and 1000 piece puzzles over morning coffee start our day before we dive into our jobs (work from home). Great distraction tools and leave a feeling of having accomplished something.

I believe it. I commented above re: local obits...one was a 6 week old. I wondered if the mother had given in to a shot at some point.

The other night I scrolled through the obits from the past 1-2 months for our ~140k area. Many and notably higher than usual number of 50/60 year olds passing unexpectedly. One in particular stood out b/c she was a University employee (vaccines required of staff).

Came in to type this myself. The last 2 Amtrak rides (20 and 12 years ago) resulted in significant delays (7-8 hours stuck on a floor in a no-room-to-move crowded waiting area) with the last trip sending us home on a Greyhound bus late at night w/o a toilet and a mouthy women yelling/cussing the entire trip. Never again.

I just thrifted a plaid flannel Carhartt hoodie shirt for my girl b/c that's her style. I highly doubt there will be an issue at her highschool; but I won't hold my tongue if it does occur.

Yes...unreal. A local "woke" and vocal school mom posted this crap study to a forum group. Our district and county is blue in a red state; but I was encouraged by the fact that she got zero comments on her post and only 2 "likes".

During my college years, I had a dissenting opinion on a topic during a discussion with my "dad". I could not agree after much debate and said: "I guess we'll have to agree to disagree." To which he replied: "Well I'm on God's side. What about you?"

I recognized this as likely a phrase he learned from his church. I replied: "I guess I must be on Satan's side then if that's your viewpoint. What a position to put people in...'attack me, attack God'." Fauci reminds me of my "dad"...

Ooh...thanks for this. I recently started buyng a Hillshire carved chicken pack as a protein option for my son; but will switch to something non-Tyson...plenty of options available.

I think it's important to note there are 2 different books titled Lawn Boy showing on Amazon. One was written by Gary Paulson which describes the enthusiastic lawn mowing adolescent boy; the other by Jonathan Evison is the book discussed in the school board meeting (based on the quick cover flash I noticed).

My husband has had 3 American flights canceled in the past 7 days (2 were today). Today they claimed weather; but last week's cancellation was never identified.

Home Depot had a "required" statement...vaccinated or not; and in the 10 minutes it took me to not find what I came for, I only saw a handful w/them on. Not playing this game.

Right. Holcomb--prove you're not a RINO already. Was just saying I want FL or TX style leadership... (This reminds me to start up the homeschool options).

Purdue has "Golden Ticket" drawings for a chance to win a year of tuition if you get the AEU shot. Federal $$$ incoming for more sign-ons, I'm sure. This is not a game.

We went to Menards tonight to spend rebate money from an online order a few months back. They've been heavy maskers; but now---sign says wear a mask if not vaccinated. We're vaccinated (not for Covid), so we went mask free. I did mention to my husband the confusion w/this latest CDC guideline...are the many shoppers still masked shot free (woohoo!) or jabbed but still too scared to remove it(?). It's all so inane.

If you explore personality analysis, this is normal assessment "lingo". It really helped me understand myself and why I am like I am when I started down the path years ago.

INFJ here. Not an alcoholic but everything else applies fairly accurately. I assumed the nature of the type of thinking this forum highlights meant many/most present with a lot of draw to this post.

I thought this already happened last year in early March...saw her stuff at a local Ollie's Bargain Outlet. I liked the gold bowl, but passed since it was her label.
