I was hoping they'd get into what to do with it once it's been disabled. There was a meme going around where a guy had converted one of these into a grill.

I think it's just more entertaining than informative. I thought it was pretty funny.

They have to be offended for everyone else, who are too stupid to know when they should actually be offended by something.

I was over in Saudi Arabia back in '91 after Desert Storm (we called it Desert Cleanup) and I couldn't stand it over there. There was that shitty goat raping music, as you call it, several times a day, and I smelled things over there that I still don't know what they were. Late at night/early in the morning, out on the flight line, the humidity was unbearable, and when a thick fog rolled in, it stunk - it actually had this odor I can't describe.

Did I mention how much I hated it there? If it wasn't for the liquor we smuggled in, it would have been unbearable.

I just went on about my business - walking into a Walmart Express one, I fucked up and actually made eye contact with the girl standing by the door with a stack of masks. She asked me if I had a mask, and I just patted my pocket, smiled, and said "yep, I sure do!"

Another time, we ate breakfast at a local diner, and our waitress, who was super good - my coffee cup never got more than 1/2 way empty - kept pulling her mask down. I could tell she didn't believe in it, and had to wear it for her job. Her manager kept coming down on her, telling her to pull it back up, and she tried to tell him she had trouble breathing with it on. We gave her an extra nice tip for having to work for that asshole.

If the idiots who still vote for these assholes would just learn what a fucking tariff really is and at its most basic level, how they work, the Chuck Schumers of the world would just fade away into nothingness.

"Is that an unregistered firearm? Or are you just happy to see me?"

I just increased my 401k contributions. I figure it will buy more as the prices drop, then once they start rising again, mine will rise that much faster.

We saw this somewhat during Trump's first term. He would announce a new tariff, or whatever, the market would react and drop, scaring everyone, then it would climb higher than it was. Idiots have too much control over the market.

Reminds me of Christian Bale's character in The Big Short. People were screaming at him to get out of their losing position on his housing market shorts, and he wouldn't. He knew once the housing market tanked, and people quit reacting emotionally, those positions would climb beyond anyone's imagination.

I'm highly skeptical as to whether our D governor in NC will sign any such bills. I don't believe we have the veto proof majority anymore. Fingers crossed...

My opinion - I don't read the NY Times, nor does anyone I know. I think by now, most people who read the NY Times, and believe anything that's in it, are a bunch of leftist assholes. So, if they want to believe that drivel about mRNA shots being good, and ivermectin being bad, good for them.

This seems to me like a problem that will work itself out.

I know this may make me seem like a bad person, but that's just the way I feel. Our side tried to let everyone know, but they resisted and will eventually pay the price.

The fact that any scientist, with the capability to do these things, could even remotely think this is a good idea, scares the living shit out of me.

Had the TSA been around on 9-11, every single one of those terrorists still would have made it onto their planes. They still would have snuck their box cutter knives on somehow. TSA would have done nothing to stop them.

A lot of grandmas and white businessmen would have been singled out for extra scrutiny, so that those TSA workers could feel extra good about themselves, and the fact that they let Johnny Jihad pass right on through.

When I stopped flying, this was one of the reasons why. They asked me at work why I didn't want to go travel any more, and I said I would when they privatize TSA and start profiling.

Now that they have that stupid Real ID thing going on, Nah, still not gonna fly any more.

What was that saying? Something about you can take something out of the ghetto, but you can't take the ghetto out of that same something...?

The last cereal I ate before I stopped breakfast cereal altogether, was Grape Nuts. There was only 4 or 5 ingredients and no added sugars. Now, occasionally(2-3 times/year), I might have a bowl of oatmeal, or a helping of grits.

But yeah, I used to love a big bowl of corn flakes, or raisin bran in the morning. Once I got to a certain age, I didn't care much for the sugary stuff - at least the overtly sugar laden stuff, like frosted flakes, or fruit loops.

What would happen if he and Trump came out in support of oxygen??

6
Tip-O-Matic 6 points ago +6 / -0

Yeah, one of my first thoughts back when it was announced what she was charging Trump with, was "how do you even come up with some obscure, BS like that?"

Anytime there's a reference to Epstein's "suicide", the word suicide should always be in quotes or italicized, only to point out the obvious.
