What did it for me was to change my outlook on things which did take some time. When I was drinking everything was looked at coming from the negative perspective. When I was able to start seeing things through a positive lens is when it stuck.
12/4 will be two years for me. Hardest thing was to figure out what to drink instead. I'm not a soda drinker but plain water just doesn't do it. First few months I drank CBD soda then eventually found a carbonated water that I like and so far so good.
I haven't looked back and dont miss it.
