I think you have already answered your own question.
All we know is Trump took it with him and SUPPOSEDLY there was a transfer.
I don't think you know how it works.
A. There are backups. Trump doesn't have the only version.
The vice president travels with a backup. Another backup is kept at the White House. One source I read said the Defense Secretary also has one.
B. Switching the active football is a simple process of changing codes on an electronic card which is something they do every inauguration
They change the codes all the time. Every single day I believe.
The card is called the biscuit. Biden received this card the morning of Jan 20th, but the codes were not active. Harris also received a biscuit. At noon on Jan 20th, Trump was no longer President and they just deactivated the codes in Florida and activated the Biden/Harris biscuits.
And do you think the football is the personal property of Donald Trump? In additional to the card with the codes, there's a lot of expensive communication gear and copies of retaliation plans. Do you think he kept Air Force One too? What do you think happened at Noon on Jan 20th? The active military personnel and the plane and the pilots all returned to Washington to the their jobs.
So here is Biden on Innuguration Day being followed by the military aide with THE ACTIVE Presidential Emergency Satchel. https://www.c-span.org/video/?c4939951/user-clip-president-joe-biden-nuclear-football
BTW, Department of Defense's Inspector General started a review of the security procedures last july. And we will hearing a lot more about why in the coming weeks. https://media.defense.gov/2021/Jul/19/2002805572/-1/-1/1/D2021-DEV0SN-0145.000.PDF
Why didn't Biden get a 21 gun salute?
I have no idea why you think he didn't.
Why did he get one at Arlington as a foreign dignitary?
This seems like pure hopium to me. A story people told themselves because they wanted to believe it. What would it mean anyway, Biden didn't pull troops from Afghanistan?
Looking over the regulations, I see no difference between a presidential 21 gun salute or a foreign dignitary one.
https://armypubs.army.mil/epubs/DR_pubs/DR_a/pdf/web/ARN20654_R600_25_Admin_FINAL.pdf
So looking into this. Biden did get a 21 gun salute. It was by the Presidential Salute Battery. And three guns have definitely been used at Arlington before
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0Ck0hr9QXTs

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=GBCmXBN83_4
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0JjkDMgSt1w
And it makes total sense why they would use three guns. The roads there are pretty narrow in places
The Human Trafficking EO makes it a capital crime with military jurisdiction.
This is completely false. Point out where the executive order says this.
Again I have actually done the research and I have actually read the Executive Orders. This should be an easy one for you. Show me where I am wrong.
I see lots of CIA talking points here. Nice job constructing this web of false info. You look like professional.
OMG. Are you serious? Please point out what is false. I don't like to disseminate bad info.
Again, this is public knowledge. The Treasury Department website has ever person/business organization whose assets were frozen due to Executive Order 13818. Anyone can look this up.
https://sanctionssearch.ofac.treas.gov/
This was the press release Treasury sent out the day the executive order was signed. It has the list of the first folks sanctioned. All foreigners. https://home.treasury.gov/news/press-releases/sm0243
That would be a different crime. Espionage.
The Rosenbergs who gave Atomic Secrets to the Soviets were not tried for treason, but for espionage, because we were not in a declared war with the USSR.
Also it was held in a regular federal court, not a military tribunal.
Sentencing and Penalties for Espionage
Sentences and other penalties for espionage vary according to the facts of the case, but typically include long prison sentences, often for life (as do other crimes against the government). Members of the military who are convicted of the crime may receive the death penalty "or such other punishment as a court-martial may direct," according the the Uniform Code of Military Justice. While most federal crimes have a five-year statute of limitations, acts of espionage generally carry a 10-year statute of limitations.
do you mean proof? Because they haven't really made their case.
I'm very sure he doesn't want to get indicted and does not want to go to court.
Why not actually take this argument to a court where it would actually matter?
Basically the reason Trump said this, is the charge against him is he was making the call on his on behalf on his own self interest.
and I just saw this.
Georgia prosecutor requests special grand jury in probe of Trump’s efforts to overturn state’s election results
So Trump's statement is almost certainly in response to this. If you remember this is about the call where asked the election officials to "find 11,780 votes."
At another point, Trump said: “So look. All I want to do is this. I just want to find 11,780 votes, which is one more than we have. Because we won the state.”
He later added: “So what are we going to do here, folks? I only need 11,000 votes. Fellas, I need 11,000 votes. Give me a break.”
By “not normal” I mean no one in position of power voluntarily gives it up unless put into submission by someone.
I disagree with this. For one, some folks want to go out without an election loss on their record and you are more likely to lose in the off year. Congress Rep is a fairly lousy job after a while and if you think you're going to lose your election why go through with it. Some quit to go into private sector and cash in, some get redistricted which has happened before.
There was some really nasty tribunal stuff with Paul Ryan and Pence in 2018-19. Why would a Speaker of the House decide to not run for re-election? Was he engaged in treason?
Was there? Was there really?
Pence was still on the ticket in 2020. Ryan did step down, but what if saw the Democrats were going to take the House? He seems to not only not to have faced a tribunal, but seems to have a plum job on the board at Fox News. He's also 51 years old. And still can have a future in politics.
You are seeing Trump as the public face of the legal team (likely with military jags support)
Forgive me, but I don't think Trump is working with military jags.
That’s what it looks like. Optics are important to normies and believers of media lies. Why does he not have nuclear football? Where is it?
Um Biden does have access to the Emergency Satchell aka the nuclear football
https://www.c-span.org/video/?508747-1/white-house-departure
Why did Joe not have access to military transports to evacuate Afghanistan?
Um, how did the military get out? Why did the military get out if not for Biden's order? You're focusing on small details and not the Big Picture. If Biden's not in charge of the military, why did we get out of Afghanistan?
Most of the rest can be explained by unexpected screwups. The Afghan Government and Army was completely infiltrated by the Taliban we learned afterwards. The government in Kabul was supposed to be able to provide security, but the Taliban knew their every move.
Why did Joe not terminate Trump’s Election Interference and Trafficking EOs. Both of which allow seizure of all Biden assets and tribunal execution for trafficking and pedophilia? Biden actually extended the election interference one...that’s weird...why?
I have read Executive Order 13818. It's not what you think it is. A lot of myths have been told about it.
It would not apply to President Biden or any other person on US Soil.
It never mentions pedophilia.
It never mentions human trafficking.
It absolutely has nothing to do with Tribunal Executions.
Executive Orders are not easy to read, this one is titles Blocking the Property of Persons Involved in Serious Human Rights Abuse or Corruption
People who didn't know the backstory of thought this might covering sex trafficking or pedophilia, but "serious human rights abuse" has a specific legal meaning defined in US Law in some other piece of registration. The backstory of this EO is given up front when it the Global Magnitsky Human Rights Accountability Act. This was a law passed by Congress and signed into law by Obama in late 2016. It was part of the Defense Budget bill. The is EO is how that law is going to be implemented. The EO is a bit broader than the law.
Here's the evidence for this here is talking about Congress passing the law the EO implementing it https://crsreports.congress.gov/product/pdf/IF/IF10576
https://www.humanrightsfirst.org/sites/default/files/hrf-global-magnitsky-faq.pdf
It allows the US Government to seize the US assets of people they can't arrest....because they are beyond US law. This only applies to foreigners. It says if you fit the category and have ASSETS in the US, the government can freeze them. If the people were in the US they could just arrest them.
You can actually see who has been sanctioned under this Executive Order
Go here https://sanctionssearch.ofac.treas.gov/ and set program to to GLOMAG
414 people or entities have been sanctioned.
See if one of them is an American.
See if one of them was sanctioned for pedophilia
See if one of them faced a tribunal execution.
here's a way to research and answer this question
Trump is King Maker right now. Almost no one will win primary without his endorsement
Do you think this is greater now than say Jan 2020? This not something he gained after retiring.
while at the same time Trump and allies (behind the scenes) has forced 29 Dem Reps to resign, retire, or not seek re-election. This is NOT normal.
How's it compare to the last midterms? This chart is from March 2018. The last comparable election. 36 Republican Reps were retiring. So 7 more Republicans in an extra 2 months. This seems pretty much the same so far.
https://www.centerforpolitics.org/crystalball/content/images//GVS2018032201-chart3_600.png
Lots of things that have been read and "learned" in the last 5 years turned out to be bupkis.
Which has led to disappointment and frustration over and over again.
A lot of it just assumptions folks agreed to without ever testing it out.
Biden has the title which has an immense amount of power with it. Trump no longer has that title or that power, so educate me. What am I missing?
Who is more powerful RIGHT NOW? Biden (title) or Trump (no title)
You ask this like you think it is Trump. If so can you explain it to me.
Because Biden is the one signing laws and moving us troops.
I'm pretty good on US history. Explain to me how DC is its own country.
Sorry, but I find your argument is not too solid. There's a few assumptions and several misunderstandings.
Your argument is.
A. Someone other than Chief Justice can swear in the President
B. Someone was carrying a book.
C. A blonde woman was present.
D. This blonde woman looks like another woman who is a judge in Kentucky
E. There was no Armed Forces Tribute to Trump.
F. Air Force One
G. Video of some soldiers, probably National Guard. Cut with a CNN report.
A. Is true. However, for over two hundred years, that's only been the cases where the president died. The evidence for this is in the same Wikipedia page you linked to
Nine vice presidents have succeeded to the presidency upon the death or resignation of the president. In these situations the oath of office was administered to the new president as quickly as possible, as doing so allowed the presidency to continue uninterrupted.
So that really doesn't seem to apply here.
B. You are speculating here. You don't know what they were carrying. To me it looks like a large binder in the CSPAN clip. Also you don't even need a book for the swearing in, let alone a Bible....again evidence in the wikipedia page
C/D Yes, a blonde woman was there, but it's pure speculation it's the blonde woman you point out......do you feel that this is who you WANT it be, not who it is likely to be?...............Also as you point out, you don't need a judge.
E. If you followed the link in the article you linked to and saw the actual reporting. This seemed be Trump's choice, not the Pentagon's. VP Pence did give remarks on Trump foreign policy Achievements before the troops.
F. This is just a misunderstanding. There's no Air Force One plane. And no plane is called Air Force One when the incoming president to be is on it. Air Force One is a radio call sign and any plane the president is on is Air Force One. So on Jan 20th. President Trump took Air Force One to Fl at 10:30 AM. At noon, it was no longer Air Force One.
G. Seems to be a deceptive clip. The first part of that video is NOT from CNN and there's no telling who took the video or when it was taking. The Part that is from CNN, is taking behind the soldiers and Most of them are looking down the road at the motorcade.
So I don't think this holds together. Which brings me to this point.
Why? Why would Trump do this? Why would he step away from the power and the spotlight for a year? For what purpose?
how is this plausible?
Do you think Trump was sworn in as PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES and then just walked away from it? From the spotlight and the power.
As for the 21 gun salute. Trump asked for that. News reports for days before talked about it.
https://nypost.com/2021/01/15/trump-mulling-21-gun-salute-goodbye-on-inauguration-day-ap/
So that is not evidence of him being sworn in but evidence he was leaving.
The other evidence is a book.
That's it.
As for the four people joining him. I see Dan Scavino,.....and two youngish looking folks. WH AIDS, perhaps.
Right. So as long as he didn't sign anything or use executive authority before noon he's fine.
And he was probably still out at the ceremony until way after noon.
...he was. He gave like a 20 minute speech, Garth Brooks sung Amazing Grace, so yeah, when he finally got to the office, he was "IN OFFICE."
how is this related to FISA?
You're correct. This is just wish fulfillment. It's folks injecting hopium into both arms.
Actual Military Tribunals have gone on for years.
See the real Military Tribunals at Guantanamo Bay.
Treason charges are very, very restrictive in US law. You need to be in a declared war. Last Treason cases date to WWII.
I don't think you can seal pardons.
How would that work anyway? A Bunch of People get let out of jail with no explanation?
If a pardon was issued before indictment, it would become public once an indictment came down.
Stick to your guns.
This Geneva Convention/Rule of War/One Year Rule is a bunch of hopium.
It's a story. It's not real or applicable in any way.
