fiberglass, resins, aluminum and other chemicals — not to mention propeller blades from giant wind turbines
the 'propeller blades' are fibreglass and resins lol. fibreglass and resins yes, not easily recycled. aluminum is recycled and the 'other' chemicals is just used oil that is disposed of like any other used oil, it ain't ending up in a land fill lol.
There is no need to exagerate or lie. The blades will be ground up and mixed into asphault, just like we do with the millions of tires we need to dispose of every year.
I'm not for green energy by any means but stupid shit like this is why the concerns aren't taken seriously. Stick to the fact that green energy costs more.
Is this good? I was hired out of school at 42k a year with no experience...
Nevermind, this isn't good.
When Rios graduates next year, he plans to work as a fabricator at a local equipment maker for nuclear, recycling and other sectors, a job that pays $24 an hour
24 an hour IS NOT 70k a year.
Aiden Holland, a senior at the high school, was recruited earlier this spring to become a nuclear submarine welder at a defense contractor in New Jersey, a position paying $75,000 a year.
This is not a realistic job for most. Not quite a one off but it's damned close.
These jobs have great potential but these kids are still starting off making less than those who started 20 years ago, and they were making less than those 20 years before. Unions didn't prevent this, even the trades wages are on par to their decades previous counterparts.
Wages are down all around, even worse when you factor in purchasing power.
It's crazy isn't it?
My old boss questioned me outside of the official work program why I didn't get the clot shot. I said clearly there is no benefit to taking it, the risk is unknown, and I'd be interested after years of study. She for the most part ignored my stance and after that generally kept quiet on the matter.... Didn't understand at the time why.. But her oldest son got myocarditis which she to this day believes was random. She even got her booster after her son was diagnosed, likely to proven whoever is keeping track wrong.
Wouldn't suprise me if it was not actually him and he's going to be the fall guy.
