If you take a circle, divide it into 9 parts and number each "slice" 1-9, then draw a circle slightly bigger, divide into 9 parts, continue the numbering, 10,11,12, etc, you get the picture... After doing this, plot the multiplication table of 3 on this circle then play connect the dots. 3 to 6 to 9 to 12 to 15 etc
Do this again for 6, then again for 9.
Some very interesting shapes form on this grid you have created.
Try it with different numbers, the 2 multiplication table, 4, 5, 7, 8 etc.
Try a different circle, try slicing it into 12 slices like a clock..... Apply these same rules, numbering 1-12, draw a circle around it, continue the grid etc etc.
There are some rather funny things that occur with numbers within our reality, especially the numbers portrayed for us in our day to day lives.
