That does not mean that the course of events on small or large scales is determined. It is not. Nor is the course of events random. There is a middle path that is formally known as "pseudorandomness". This is the path nature is constrained to take.
Pseudorandomness means that the unfolding of the universe is an event in which all things, however small or large and no matter where or when, influence each other in ways that are limited by certain "rules of behavior" but which are not exactly predictable.

You guys are ignoring the elephant - which is the vaccines.
The vaxxines are the bioweapon and over five billion people have taken the poison.
Many of them are already dead. Over 1.1 million in the US alone.
How many will die worldwide only God knows but the world may be VERY different in a year or two.
Unless a magic bullet antidote for the injections is found (seems unlikely to me) extremely widespread death has already begun and is increasing sharply - again worldwide.
22-380 may wipe out this whole sorry McCarthy business. The conference date is 1-6-'23 but the case has national security implications and it may, possibly, be heard earlier.
The new congress is seated on Jan. 3rd but it may not last long.
If SCOTUS hears the case they will probably do so without delay.
My guess is they hear it and convict all 388. So then we are in uncharted waters.
The outcome of the conference on the 6th will not be known until the vote is published. Same for the hearing of the case - if it is heard.
There are some quite positive circumstance on our side though that you did not mention. One of those is that the SCOTUS Justices take an oath to protect and defend the Constitution.
Do they want to risk being charged with violating their own oaths in the same way that the Congress is being charged?
They most certainly could be charged if they decline to hear the case or if, having heard the case, they vote to clear Congress of violating its oath to protect and defend.
What would the Nine be facing if they fail to convict Congress in 22-380?
For one thing the collective decision of the majority has no further review - save one possible venue - and that is military tribunal.
If the Nine vote in favor of Congress then the Justices could be seen as US citizens who acted as enemy combatants to aid and abet sedition and treason and that opens them up to military arrest and tribunal.
They would potentially be facing the death penalty. Given the recent history of tribunals at GITMO they would almost certainly be convicted of treason and hanged.
The nine will definitely know they face that risk and they will almost certainly act accordingly.
In my view, Thomas and Alito are votes to hear 22-380 and to convict congress. Then there are Gorsuch, Kavanaugh and AC Barrett. We need two of them to get the case heard. Roberts is unknown. The others may vote to let the case slide into oblivion. Then we need one more to convict.
The outcome is uncertain but the Justices are not stupid. They will have consulted the facts and circumstances and they will have felt twinges of fear for their lives. Every one of them swore to protect and defend.
They had better not fail.
Then of course there is the well-known quote that the military is the only way.
Compare the Presidential Oarh of Office with the notion of "termination" of its Articles -
"I do solemnly swear (or affirm) that I will faithfully execute the Office of President of the United States, and will to the best of my ability, preserve, protect and defend the Constitution of the United States."
Very strongly disagree with this:

Lincoln faced a crisis of similar kind and magnitude. He suspended Habeus Corpus on a limited basis for a relatively short time. He did not "terminate" it.
If Trump has it as a goal, or a necessary step to reestablish our freedoms, to "terminate" the Constitution or major portions of it, and then to remake it in substantial form then I cannot support him or his plan.
The Declaration of Independence is the bedrock of America and of MAGA, and the Constitution is the codification of the principles derived from the Declaration.
These documents are not "sacred". Their principles are the foundations of human liberty. No other system, no other foundation is their equal.
What we are engaged in is a struggle for the preservation of these ideals. To call for the "termination" of these ideals is to turn our idealistic struggle upon itself as its own enemy.
All I can think is that Trump has misspoken himself. As far as I know the DOD Manual of War does not obviate or contradict the Constitution.
So what could he possibly mean by this statement that appears, quite clearly, to be entirely repugnant to the Constitution?
