There is no objective "truth". There are facts, such as the sun rises in the east and sets in the west. But when it comes to moral questions, Truth depends on your moral perspective. To Christians, any killing of another human is immoral, except for capital punishment for individuals duly convicted of heinous crimes. The Christian foundation is that all human life is sacred. By comparison, Islam prohibits killing, but only killing of other Muslims as forbidden. There is no rule protecting the kuffar (non-Muslims) from physical abuse, rape, torture, or killing. Muslims see non-Muslims as less than human and deserving of derision, ill-treatment, and even death.
US population Black: 12.2% / White: 60.1% / Hispanic: 18.5% / Asian: 5.6% / Other ~4%
Diversity by major US sport:
NBA black 70% / white 17% / hispanic 2%
NFL black 53% / white 24% / other/mixed/non-disclosed 23%
MLB black 6% / white 60% / other 34%
If rosters are supposed to reflect the overall society, then blacks are significantly over-represented in the NBA and NFL. Should there be quotas to demand more white / hispanic / asian players?
Some interesting etymology related to lead. In the middle ages beer was drunk from mugs made out of lead or lead-containing metal. The tradition of the wake in which the body of the deceased person was laid out for a day or two was instituted in this period to give the "deceased" time to "wake up" from their potential lead poisoning.
They started this practice because when bodies were exhumed, 1 out of 25 had claw marks on the inside of the top of the casket, indicating the occupant had been alive at some point inside the casket. As a result, strings attached to a bell were placed inside the casket so that if the buried person woke up, they could pull the string to ring the bell. Obviously, someone had to be in the cemetery at all times to hear any bell ringing. The person listening at night was said to work the "graveyard shift". And if a bell was rung, the person ringing it was a "dead ringer".
Triggered by "blatant antisemitism, islamophobia..." - they don't seem to understand that Islam is antisemitic by definition. The Quran's Verse of the Sword speaking of Jews and Christians (which Islam considers idolators) instructs Muslims - "wherever you encounter the idolaters, kill them, seize them, besiege them, wait for them at every lookout post".
